Moving the Birthday Celebration for @BrewsOverHoes to the proper thread.

[IMG] Got really cold after snow and sleet last night. It sure is pretty, but terrible morning for garbage day. Cheers all.

Maredsous Tripel is a very good beer, which is easy to drink and yet kind of dangerous as it’s still 10% ABV. Luckily I have no impending obligations outside, beside some home work and chores...

    Cheers all...

Good day BAs! Another cool morning - That nine inches (snow) we were supposed to get ended up being about half an inch of freezing rain covered with an inch of snow. Another panic courtesy of the media averted. Locally, just another winter day. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

I eat LOTS of pecans (and cashews) and this is dreaming of tasting like a pecan pie. Still, although the cinnamon is 'way weaker than, say, Weyerbacher's Cinnsanity, it's still noticeable and definitely is the high point of this otherwise overpriced brew. Rating 3.76, rDev -11.9%.

A long work day ahead, so staying wise with some low-ABV Run Wild.
But it is Wednesday, which means a real beer later.
Cheers... let's make today feel retro-cool.

And following yesterday's recurring theme, this is my last KBS! I skipped beer shopping last weekend, but I don't think I can put it off for another week.

Have a good Wednesday. I slept yesterday in the afternoon because of all the damn snow. I couldn't get into my car port after the brewery visit on Monday night. So yesterday Julia was going to go to the gas station for food after 10PM. Her hybrid got stuck in the curb because of all the motor weight combined with no snow tires. I was able to rock my car out of the driveway and she was just sitting in the middle of the road all night. I parked on the street when we got back. We got a 29 ounce thin crust for each of us, plus a pork tenderloin and off brand doritos and buffalo ruffles at Sav A lot. Good thing they are open 24 hours. I ate my pizza and she took half home. Very delicious for the price. Pork was right at 130F internal temp.

Wings and Melvin Hop Shocker. The shocker is that it’s not super hoppy, but I’m admittedly jaded. Tasty though the Melvin maltiness in their higher ABV IPAs (8% here) is present. Cheers!
