I've really never thought of Anabasis as an American Barleywine. At it's core it is English with some American hopping. Here were some of Cory's words awhile back:

"Anabasis began as a homebrew, a complex recipe of malts, that has never changed, even as we have grown. The malt bill and fermentation was inspired by our love of English Barleywines, but with our little twist. It is hopped as if it were an American Barleywine for long term aging in oak and the great transformation hops go through with time."

Looks like whatever that embossed paper goes with is bottled still. Curious if that's MJK or something else.

Would also make sense with the MJK glasses in the same size as the invitational taster

"The lack of carbonation and high ABV allows this to be thoughtfully enjoyed like a port wine for days"

Am I the only person who flipped my laptop upside down while yelling at the screen to enhance?

Now that you can tip at checkout, I hope everyone got their fill of Gratuity. Fingers crossed they do a BA version.

'We brewed 3 unique recipes in which we called M.J.K. to produce a barrel stock for selection and blending. Initially brewed a month before Milo was born, I have been following the progression of these barrels, making selections for double-barrel-aging and then again for triple-barrel-aging.

Less than 10% of what we brewed as M.J.K. was finally chosen for this small blend to hold the name and place as a beer for our son.

I hope that you enjoy the years and numerous blending sessions that were incorporated into this special beer. I am also very excited to say that we crossed a threshold, a beer in which you can enjoy over the course of days, when taken care of. I have personally completed several QC sessions, opening a bottle, drinking 2 ounces, placing a whiskey cork/cap in it and setting it back in a cooler. Over more than a week, the beer opened up, it evolved and most importantly, it maintained a level of quality you expect from Side Project. I can confidently say that over the course of several days to a week, you can enjoy this beer as intended if stored cool and saved with a champagne stopper / whiskey cork/cap.'

More beers where you can cork it and it opens up without going bad over the course of a week would be absolutely awesome.

I’d say you could store it even longer with a Vacu Vin since it’s still.
