PN12 live. sounds wonderful, I'm still holding out hope it'll be more like PN8 than 11

 

I wonder if they'll continue the 10 min heads up IG posts on big bottles as well. This is 2 or 3 straight they've done that on now.

 

It's quite good, but NEIPA oversaturation is real.

 

PN12 was a nice test drive for the new site, which still makes me nervous as hell

 

Noticed that PN12 was pulled from the site before it went live. At first, I figured the live link would be different to deter bots but it ended up being the same link. Maybe this is due to the new Shopify system where it gets removed while the link is being updated for release.

 

We actually brewed a double batch of it . For Melcher (single batch), it sold out too quickly, so we had one of our big tanks open to do a double batch of this one. Glad we did, so more people could try what we have been working on in our hops dept.

With Shopify, we can actually schedule the releases now, makes it easier on us and you. With this system, it weeds out bots by itself, so don't really see any reason why we won't announce more releases at set times.

Also, to the questions about it coming down before going live, that's one quirk we are still working on. For us to schedule the release, it has to go "inactive" and thus invisible to you, for the system to make it "active" and live at a set time. We hope to eventually have the product visible the whole time and then at release time, the purchase button goes live. But one step at a time...

 

You sold me on the new system the moment I read that bit.

 

New system and site have been great. Really enjoy that I can track everything easier and checkouts have been smooth and quick on both mobile and desktop

 

If you have noticed, the system is a touch slower, by way more secure and better for us in the long run.

The last system, the orders came in so fast you couldn't refresh fast enough as it wasn't regulating anything. With this one, it does a better job searching through everything as the orders come it (high risk and bots), so it is slower, but better.

The number one traffic source to our site is a server in Virginia, so there's people out there scouring our site every second for new releases...

 

That would be a bot page refreshing and looking for changes. Then it alerts the people.
