Well fellow Coloradans we are no longer able to join these events...evidently the carrier sucks and ruined it for us. I just spoke w Chris at Halftime.

Wow, was able to participate in the Extreme Beer Fest, but now no beer is being shipped to Ohio

From Ohio. Kinda sucks to be excluded for shipping for this fest when HalfTime actually ships to Ohio. Oh well, have fun folks! Guess I’m supposed to be a bourbon guy. So long.

I feel you Staw Hat, CO was also available for Extreme Fest (which was awesome) and due to crappy shipper/carriers here in CO, Halftime said no thanks.

Understood Todd. I'm sure a lot of us just assumed since we did the last one we didn't even need to look to see if we were good for this one. All good, I shipped two cases to my bro in Reno and all he has to do for a thank you is ship one box to CO!! Suck it bad delivery companies. Nothing is gonna keep us from drinking some great IPA's w you and Edgar.

Disappointing but understandable this is why I was glad to see PA be on the list. Since my coworker lives there I'll still be able get in once I see the brewery beer list. Was the timeline and the style the only reason it was a dealbreaker for the state's you mention? Or was the carriers performance that bad to where future fest for the state's mention is off the table until different carrier are available? Even if time and style are not an issue.

Yeah hopefully it won't be an issue next go around. Thankfully I have a plan b thanks to a coworker. You may want to check the other fest half time has on offer. The list for that one doesn't seem as good but may be worth a shot.

Good question. It's just for this fest given the quick turnaround and freshness concerns. We can't risk these beers sitting around at a regional carrier facility for two+ weeks.

I'm interested - you did a great job with EBF, Todd - but hesitant to pay without knowing some of the beers I'd get. If these are mainly shelfies commonly available to me, I'm less interested to pay $$$

I'm sure you've already explored all options, but is there any option for pick up in Colorado? Either at the carrier's location, an alternate location or even at a brewery or something? Really want to participate in this one - EBF was so much fun!

I hear ya. I highly doubt most of the breweries distribute to Mass, but I just posted two of the beers and will post two more each day.

After EBF, I was willing to buy into this blind. And DDH PtY on the list tells me I am likely to be happy with what ships.

We were just talking about this as well, would Molly's Spirits take all the front range orders in and then we can pick up form there...or Mister B's or your idea of a brewery that wants the extra exposure.
