Beers you miss

I have said in the past but to reiterate it, I would love to see Yakima Glory by Victory make a return.

One beer I really miss, especially with Fall staring us in the face, is Durty by Smuttynose. Man, I had an irrational love for that beer.

Let me add Double Dose a DIPA collab between Otter Creek and Lawson’s. That was fantastic.

Noble Shower series. Loved the beer and the embossed labels. Why did they stop brewing those beers ??

 

Dundee Variety Packs... Both Spring and Fall!

 

Samuel Smith Yorkshire Stingo, especially since one of the local stores had it at the same price as the regular lineup.

 

Otter Creek - Stovepipe Porter. I was so upset when they discontinued this that I've never had an Otter Creek beer since.

Young's - Oatmeal Stout

Caution - The Earl. Caution was a brewery in the Denver area that closed not too long ago. The Earl was an English mild with just a hint of Earl Grey tea. Loved it.

 

I miss Shiner Hefeweizen, it was the beer that got me off of the BMC train

 

Most of my misses are AALs I haven’t seen in forever, I’d buy some Black Labels if I saw it, but it’s been pushing 25 years or so. I’m driven primarily by nostalgia.

Pearl, one of my favorite beers in the Texas region when I was stationed at Fort Hood in the 70's.
Also enjoyed Lone Star a lot. Especially when having it by the pitcher full at a place called The Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin. Saw some great concerts thete, and downed plenty of Lone Star!!

 

Odell’s Cutthroat Porter and Mountain Standard. (the real one)

Still can’t understand why these got nixed.

 

I made the same comment a few months ago and was challenged about its accuracy. You may find yourself in the firing line.

 

Samuel Adams Wicked Hazy

 

Mountain Standard was my favorite Black IPA. Definitely miss that one.

 

My 4.42 rating of Cutthroat says that I agree with you.

 

I was lucky enough to get my hands on some Westy 12 back when they did the release.

Probably never drink that beer again in my life.
