Good day BAs and good luck @DoctorZombies. Guess I missed the previous explanation posts but I guess you're not having anything wacked since you're drinking before going. So if you're hanging with a family member, I wish them luck as well.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Quite good - I'm liking expresso brews better than "just" coffee brews - I'll have to try a homebrew one. And I can actually taste the vanilla in this one.
    Rating 4.01, rDev -3.4%.

[IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned 2/23/2021. Pours a hazy orange with a finger head that leaves thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4

Aroma melon, lemon rind, peach, apricot, pine, and grapefruit. 3.75

Taste follows honeydew, lemon drop, peach, apricot, pine, and grapefruit. 3.75

Mouthfeel is above medium, not sticky or dry, fairly gentle carbonation, and at 8.1% ABV it drinks easy. 4

Overall this is a solid beer, nothing earth shattering, but still way above average. 4 Cheers all.

Have a good Wednesday. After the shittiest weekend in 9 months, the last 36 hours were pretty fucking good. After the mexican and margaritas, me and my gf had a food coma. I got an email from a recruiter at 6pm on monday for a 145PM phone interview with a hiring manager. After 20 minutes they told me to come in today in a few hours. It will be a pay cut, but fuck it. I will just be a tech drawing analyst lead. No engineer, but I can work with the team on releasing. I even told them up front about my "legal bullshit" and they didn't care, so it might work out this time. I went to woody's for open face 1/2 lb chili burger and tendies. Also got hungry at 12 AM and had a foot long club with Mayo/Mustard/relish. I accidentally went in early for work, so I banged out 9 hours. Just need to cut my hair and trim my face a bit. Need to get my car checked up too. 42 minute drive to the job. So I need new brakes soon after 45k+ in 5 years.

Thanks! I’m fine. Mrs. Z got a tune up yesterday, so we’re stuck at the NIH for a few days. Cheers!

Once again, a big Thanks to @Ocalafox for his info about Sierra Nevada being a BOGO at Publix. Stocked up on my favorite ... TORPEDO. Going to enjoy at least a sixer of it today. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Cheers BAs.

Absolutely, we have to take care of each other down here in "the oasis of freedom"! I struck out on Torpedo yesterday but got Dankful and Hazy. I'll hit a different Publix today for Torp. Cheers!

Our Total Wine in Brandon matches Publix BOGOs. I picked up Torpedo there last Friday. They even had the shelf tagged half price. I just checked the Lady Lake online site, and it shows at $5.49. Cheers.

This one is a super vintage '02. Lots of funk/bitter some horse-blanket. Honestly I think its a bit too old...love to try something between 05-09.

My wife also got me 2 sixers of BIG LITTLE THING IPA at that deal. Can't beat $1.08 a can or bottle for these. And the best part is that we've got 4 Publix stores within a 10 mile radius of our home ... If one is out, one of the others will probably have what we're looking for.

    Cheers.

I've got Rogue Honey Kolsch in my glass to start of the day. It's got a fairly light nose, but fortunately, the taste is stronger. There's the advertised honey, some bready malts and fruit. It's good, not great. I'm fine with just the one.

One of two beers purchased yesterday for "science". This one to determine whether my original take last Friday that what I gleamed from this beer is I like the taste, but it is far to light / neutral (no bitterness) for a WCIPA. Original take confirmed, and that's The Truth, Ruth.
