That's how a general lack of fiscal restraint gets redirected when you're no longer spending any money eating out during a pandemic.

I sure hope we'll see that one again. I only got the allotted two 4-packs because I drove up for a Saturday pickup window and struck out at Binny's--had one rep chuckle at me for thinking it might not have sold out in an hour the day before. So in any case, I'm stingy about how often I crack one open.

 

I'm with you! I would really like to bring Thundertaker and others to a share to see how it stacks up to others, but, you know...COVID!!!
The biggest bummer with no shares going on is that I cannot sample many beers at once and compare/contrast them - that typically makes for fun discussions and understanding of the beers, as well as my palate. I mean, I can have two Deep Wood cans by myself in a night, but it gets a bit rough after the third...LOL!

I think the modern thing to do is show off your whiskey front and center but you've got Parker's Heritage and other cool stuff very well hidden.

Haha, the two VSOD are in front of a DBVSOD 4-pack that the single is sitting on.

Wow, good eye! Yes, and the bottles on either side of the Parker's Heritage are 2020 and 2017 Four Roses LE Small Batch, with Kavalan ex-Bourbon Solist and Whistlepig 10-Year Rye to the right.

 

Spent too much on Deep Woods, can't afford a fridge.

 

I will be fighting hard for the sequel to be called Paul Barrel.

 

Excellent name! Better yet, I’m taking this as confirmation there exists a sequel.

 

Once this pandemic's over, make the drive down to Lafayette and we'll crack open whatever you like, record the conversation and submit it as a guest episode of The @GuyFawkes Show.

When Binny’s does these collabs, do they offer a choice of their barrels type or is it just a take it or leave it choice? Rather- do they say we have woodford or welled

Are they open to 2 year or double barrel collabs or do they need to turn these around faster?

Lots of mighty fine beer there for sure. I'd be popping one of those X's sooner than later. I only have 1 can left and the last one I opened a few months ago was amazing. Also, how's VSOR drinking? Mine are long gone at this point.
