Only having one today, and it's a good one. Firestone Walker Mind Haze, a 6.2% Hazy IPA. Apricot, peach, pineapple & lemon are all noticeable. I wish I had more than just the one.

 

Having a Texels Storm Bock. Probably the most appropriate local beer at the moment during storm 'Evert'.
Storm is slowing down somewhat now. But I still can hear the sea roaring. With a slight open window, this sound works wonderful for a good night sleep.

This is a very good IPA. One of the best I've had.

 

Have a good Thursday. I was having anxiety attacks all night about that stupid interview yesterday. Wish I never did it. However I did cool down and eat a quart of ice cream before going to sleep yesterday afternoon. My coworker gave me a big ass meatloaf sammich, and I put BBQ and mustard on it. Been a rough night, but I emailed that recruiter to tell him the hiring manager was frankly unprofessional and probably insane if they were giving me that kind expectations? I told him I am not taking any pay cuts for bullshit work. I want to release parts or design tooling or some shit. HOPEFULLY SOON. Julia going to start staying with me all the time and going home to get stuff to move, so it's going to be fabulous. I just got off a 3 hour skype video call, which was the best. She is going to stop by after the bank today, I might be asleep by then, but I'll leave the door unlocked lol.

Been years since I last had this, thanks to @7irondave! Definitely not one for the masses to drink anymore since it’s just a classic IPA! But trying to simplify life and I just want a simple and tasty beer! Still Hoppy after all these years!

Yes, a 24pack at Costco. Cheap, sessionable (I hate that term, btw) and crushable (I hate that term, too).

I got it for my wife, who drinks maybe 6oz of beer at dinner, and she doesn't like it. I'll pass on future purchases, but it is a well-made IPA. My wife is officially crazy for hazy with at least 6% ABV.

I enjoyed it with my bachelor style meal while she is out of town.
