If and when they catch these guy they should be shot. Unfortunately they’re in Russia or one of the Stans, so it’s probably encouraged.

Before I retired, I worked for a manufacturer of industrial control equipment.

Security hardening consumed a very large part of the R&D budget for the last 10 years or so, and it is on-going.

We joke in the industry that ICS SCADA does not mean "Industrial Control Systems Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition", it really means "Internet Connected Systems Security Can't Actually Defend America".

The hits just keep on coming.

Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a massive hack for senior management to spend money on this stuff, after Intellectual Property is lost, lives are lost and whatever collateral damage ensues.

I hope they can purge the scourge and get back to stable.

My debit card got hacked. I am not surprised that a large corporation also got hacked.

    More like an on-going battle.

Any industrial control company that did not wake up after Stuxnet is likely out of business by now.

I get hacked twice a year, and have to change cards, I get scam calls every damn day except weekends. I made my passwords indecipherable. We’ll see my passwords I let my daughter set it up it’s insane and completely random. We all get fished id guess , this week was someone posing as amazon. I don’t have an Amazon account, my wife does, nothing attaches me. So they got a FO.

Similar happened to me and I was told by police and the SS office nothing I can do. It’s crazy. When somebody has your information it’s crazy what can happen. Beyond phishing. It was advanced info selling
