You guys got me to run out and buy a 4-pack of Hallow when I was trying not to grab any more hazy beers for the week. Thanks a lot.

Looks like Space is coming back in cans.

I recently had Green Branch and that feels like a dead ringer for a Tree House style beer. Something very similar to Very Green...

I've never had any Treehouse stuff, but I was very happy with my first can of Hallow. Didn't really get much green (maybe I was lucky with picking it up this "late" in the game), and the light bitterness and lack of any sweetness was really nice. Reminded me of the first time I had Alchemist's Focal Banger, which was one of the first bitter IPAs that really felt like the bitterness was justified.

I'm generally not the biggest fan of Half Acre's year-round stuff (it's fine, I just think their one-offs and special releases are better), but this is a pretty impressive entry, imo.

Picked up Green Branch today. Damn, that is one of the best IPAs I've had recently. Had to look up the hop bill and it's Citra, Idaho 7 and...Sabro! And I despise Sabro. Thankfully Citra takes the limelight here and shines through. The release of Space has Citra as well so might be interested in checking that one out if I can make it to HA over the weekend. Also picked up Vallejo today. Looking forward to revisiting that. Keep on keeping on, HA.

we share a disdain for sabro, and i too was won over by green branch.

stacks of it at binny's too, funny to see everyone walk right by one of the better local IPA's in recent memory

Green Branch is good I don’t taste the Sabro myself

Stopped by Half Acre for a couple beers last night, just so good to see them open again.

Hallow I thought was excellent whereas I didn't care a ton for Green Branch.

This most recent batch of hallow is more oj-looking and has more rind, which I prefer, but still very soft. This reminds me of treehouse more so than green branch. For $85 a 1/6 barrel I’ll likely always have this on one of the taps

Balmoral's patio is open, I don't think Lincoln is open yet.

that’s what I thought. I got excited for a second but I would imagine they’d make an announcement

They can send some to Ohio. Seems like a year since the last half acre drop. We can help the stacks go away.

Vallejo drinking as well as I ever remember it. IMO, it's hard to find sub 7% IPAs which can stand up flavor/tastewise (Celebration Ale is one which comes to mind) to the relentless sea of imperial IPAs released these days but I think this one does a helluva job. I'm good for another 4pk after this one.

Came here to say the same. Have always enjoyed Vallejo but this run is by far the best I've ever had.

I'm also really liking this version of Vallegjo. However I find Green Branch too sweet and too heavy on the Sabro. If you like sweet ipa's and Sabro then you'll love it. I'm just preferring more bitterness in my NEIPA's.
