Starting off the day with a Margarita Gose from Cigar City. It has the advertised lime and orange rind, but the salt seems to be missing. The best thing about it is that, when I rated it, the Taste category was the highest rating. I still only gave it a 3.76, a substantial bit below it's BA average of 4.04. Even if it's not the best, it's still hitting the spot after my weekly chemo. So, there's that.

This beer is an incredible work of art! @jzeilinger and @scream, Mother of all Storms from Pelican Brewing has been surpassed by multiple BA barleywines from Central Waters Brewing!

Better Year Bitter an ESB from the Bull n Bear Brewery an excellent example of an often overlooked style.

Dark, reddish brown body sporting a fairly thin yet lasting head. Beautifully sweet smell infused with notes of roasted grains and chocolate. Rich malt flavor with tastes of milk chocolate and cocoa; very mild bitterness. Heavy body; thick and oily, very smooth; excellent residual sugar body; semi-sweet mouthfeel.

This is a deep, complex, and incredibly tasting porter. The mouthfeel is exquisite, coating the palate with lush, velvety sugary goodness. This is a very malt-forward beer. The overall balance is phenomenal, giving the beer drinker a most wonderful porter experience.

Fellow beer drinkers. You know me. I’m loyal to the soil. @TheIPAHunter you know what I’m saying. Real recognize real. I needed that simcoe and it has been delivered. Have you ever looked beauty straight in the face.

I’m routing for Washington’s porter to be the top porter drank in this tasting weekend.

    peace out.

10:37 mark of the video. Welcome to Philadelphia.
I forget mans name. He’s in every live show in Philly.

In my glass right now is New Belgium's Dominga Mimosa Sour. The only advertised adjunct they have in this is calamansi fruit. And I have literally no WTF that is, so please feel free to disregard my opinion on this beer. Based on the taste/smell profile of the beer, though, I'm guessing that it's some sort of citrus fruit. Citrus fruits, specifically lime and orange are dominant in this one. There's also some lemon. Even without knowing what was in the beer, or what the brewers were going for, I rated it at 3.95, a healthy bit above it's BA average of 3.84.

Cold again in the Northeast, at least in metro NYC. Perfect fireplace weather. Kicking back, enjoying a quiet day with Hold On To Sunshine from Tree House Brewing in Charleton, MA. Like a Hershey's milk chocolate fountain soda and sunshine, it makes me happy.
