Looks like they have their first hopped seltzer available...Medusa and Citra. I will likely go try it just to see what it's all about, but I do not have high hopes, haha.

Actually, it looks like they have one of each kind on tap right now...a smoothie, a hopped, and an original.

Strawberry Chantilly available now and DDH Trio of Stars available on Friday with more to come:

This double dry hopped double IPA was hit with a trio of hops that have undeniably become iconic with beautiful, luxuriously hop saturated pale ales: Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy. Drippin with fresh squeezed citrus, pulpy stone fruit and resiny hops on the senses.

I’m sure P3 has done a galaxy beer but I can’t think of one off the top of my head.

That was by far the weakest Pixel Density. Yeah these Galaxy hops have not been great recently.

Speaking of PD, I really hope they bring Lite back soon. That was beer was a home run in my book, especially as I find myself drinking lower abv beers more often than not

St. Patrick's Day treats on Friday:

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, so let’s go!

The Knot: 5% Irish Red Ale. Brewed with toasty malts and a splash of roasted barley for that rich red color and depth of flavor. Malty, but not caramely or overly sweet. Balanced and meant for drinkin’!

The Claddagh: 4.2% Irish Dry Stout. Don’t come expecting a pastry, you wont find it here. Extremely simple at it’s core. A traditional representation of pale ale malt, flaked oats and roasted barley. That’s it. Roasty, creamy, low ABV deliciousness that will make you appreciate the little things.

These will be available on Friday at the taproom, home deliveries this weekend and out for distro next week!

Glasses will be available as part of a St. Patrick’s day celebration set that includes a glass, a mixed 6 pack of The Knot and The Claddagh, green beads and a special recipe card for some delicious The Claddagh corned beef and The Knot Irish soda bread.

I’ll be in Chicago (Miracle Mile) and hoping to get to Phase 3 - is there any transportation that gets me close?

hey @OWKBOB welcome to BA! Im not aware of any public transportation that would take you directly from the Mag Mile to Phase Three ... other than Uber/Lyft type services.

That being said, you should be able to find some Phase Three offerings at the Binnys on Grand Ave (213 W Grand Ave. Chicago, Illinois 60654) - that is probably within walking distance to where you'll be staying. A little further afar and definitely reachable by public transportation you have places like Binnys (1720 N Marcey St, Chicago, IL 60614), Warehouse Liquors, Printers Row Wine Shop, Beer Temple. I'm sure some other people here will have some other good suggestions for you as well.

I think the closest Metra train stop would be Barrington which isn't too far of an Uber from there and would be a hell of a lot cheaper. Metra was a decent app now that you can use to also make the trip up there a bit more flexible

A Miracle Mile is indeed what it will take to get to P3 from Chicago.

Depending on when you're going to be in Chicago, you might be able to get P3 delivery. Check their website, they deliver in Chicago on Saturdays, and it's pretty reasonably priced.

Yo mega shout outs to the crew at P3, I ordered at 2pm yesterday, they delivered at 10am this morning and I wasn't even in the delivery zone, I'm actually like way outside of it. Pretty awesome. Can't wait to crack into some of these beers.

EDIT: I should say I'm in the Sunday delivery zone but very far into it.

Had both the P3 and GI collabs side by side today.

GI version was good, though for me, strawberry is tough in a stout. Certainly nothing wrong with it. Carb was fairly prickly.

P3 version was definitely thicker and coconut was front and center. Once this comes out of barrels and Shaun works his magic, this could be a stunner.

Looks like GI left them a treat.. Prop 14 on tap. Expensive, but if anyone wants a pour, it is flowing.

This "hand selected Citra" batch of Pixel Density is unfuckingbelievable. The aroma is unlike any locally made hazy I've ever had. The mouthfeel and flavor are perfect.

Double Nectar Strawberry/Raspberry/Sweet Cherry tastes like a fruit roll up in the most ridiculous over the top way. Phase Three is executing at such a high level I cannot believe it.

Hands down my favorite Chicagoland brewery right now. Breweries will eventually stop trying to outdo them and P3 will reign supreme. They will end up being Chicagoland's Tree House, Trillium, Monkish, etc. Absolutely dumbfounded by how good these beers are.
