    Either making my first post un-jinxed me or not too many people were interested in this release, because I actually won. Leaning toward going, though (of course) this is the release I'm least excited about in a long time. Stout Hawks didn't exactly seem to blow people away, but maybe the barrel will work some magic on it.

    Apparently TG has gone dark on the Twitter. I’m not about to sign up for Facebook and Instagram so now I’ll need to figure out how to make a bot to monitor their website for changes and upcoming events.

    I’m hoping the Chainsmoker and Barrel Slayer last on tap for my pick up tomorrow night. I haven’t had Assassin but I’ll probably have opportunities in the future to try it. The others I don’t think I’ll get another chance at.

    No they have no more bottles of chain smoker. At the assassin 19 release Clark and mike walked around with a box of beers and 2 were chain smoker. He said those were the last 2 bottles he said in their possession. I had one more but drank it not long after. Barrel slayer was just awesome went down twice when it was on tap

    Gillian is the name of the person who has been running the account lately. At least that’s who contacted me about an issue with one of their releases. Wonder if because they’ve been more responses if they had them change the reply name.

    I will say for being not overly interested in the BA stout hawks I’m pleasantly surprised with how good it is. I would say it was worth the win finally

    I have not tried it but grabbed a bomber. My friends who ate with me thought it was very solid however. My wife gave up beer for lent so waiting til April 4th

    I can’t believe this is a pale ale - this is better than I remember it. Tons of insane hop flavors, pour is beautiful, mouthfeel is madness thick (esp for a pale ale) - reminds me of OG Toppling hops. Delicious. Hoard with confidence.

    On a complete separate but related note, just opened up a Dreadnaught - what a malty can of garbage ... man the IPA has changed, I remember my glee finding a warm bomber on store shelves in Milwaukee years ago and savoring when to crack it. This is painful and I have 3 more.

    Anyone tried the TG/Lua (Des Moines brewery) collaboration, DIPA called Waking Up in the Sun? Tried a bottle on Sunday and enjoyed it, though admittedly I was already fairly buzzed. Somewhat dry with some hop burn, but it had some TG funk and typical Lua IPA chewiness. Worth a try obviously, though I'm much more intrigued by TG's TIPA collab with Blackstack, which I can't find in central Iowa.

    I thought on the Twitter TG said that the black stack collab was Minnesota only. Looking forward to their hop butcher release in may.
