    Currently drinking Tripel Karmeliet, special day of sort for me as I’m getting closer to “The Big 40”. It’s starting to show, not only the few gray hairs and beard.

    Happy b-dy. 40 was sooo long ago! But a good triple is good any day! Maybe I'll go pull one out of the cellar today.

    Lambics have been my favourite style category for over 25 years, Lindemans is not my favourite but I'm not complaining being able to buy a few here over xmas.

    Odd name for this one from @mickyge - Jjjuliusss! - kind of reminds me of Spinal Tap amps going to 11... but holy cats this beer is one primo juice bomb. After a weekend of porters, a radical and delicious change. Cheers!

    Here are the notes on the can:

    Our play on a yogurt parfait. A golden ale soured with organic yogurt with four live probiotic cultures then layered with lemon peel, raspberry puree, vanilla and lactose sugar. Aromas and flavors of fresh, subtly sweet, yet tart citrus & berry blossoms are abound.

    It is a wonderful sour!

    I started off today with a Sierra Nevada Dankful IPA. It wasn't especially dank, although those notes were there. It was mostly orange, lime & pine, which make for a wonderful IPA. I rated it 4.18 which is a chunk above it's BA average of 4.04. It's a shame it's a one-off, but I'm glad that I got one to try.
