Budweiser, that's right, garden variety bog standard Budweiser.

Sitting here in my new house, well, new to me, the guy I bought it from built it 30 years ago. Anyway, it's out in the country and large enough to accommodate the whole family. My daughter in law picked out the place and chose it in no small part due to the large fenced in back yard which is about an acre and mine is one of the smaller back yards in the neighborhood. Still it's plenty of room for dogs and grand kids to roam.

Funny story, prior to buying the place I spoke to the local Sheriff about crime rate and he allowed there was one burglary in our neighborhood about 12-13 years ago when a local kid stole a bike. In the Sheriff's words "we just let the grandmother's sort it out".

So I'm living in Mayberry in a house with large windows that's filled with light and laughter, particularly when the two year old starts chasing cats down the hall way. I don't think the cats mind because when when he gets up in the morning they go seek him out.

Unfortunately the place is a beer wasteland. We have Bud, Miller, Coors and one of the three local stores occasionally has Yuengling. Not to worry though, I get my second shot next week and then will be able to get out. I highly suspect there will be some new Spring releases on the shelves within my driving range.

Legends Brewing Porter - one of the last vestiges of the Christmas mini beercation left in the frig. A good but not great porter. Still, tasted good on this coolish evening.

This weeks BOGO at Publix, I took a chance on the Goose Island "Lost Palate" and am glad I did. It doesn't have the fullness of the TG or EQ beers, but at $1 per can it's a fu(king steal! I go in for Photodynamic therapy on my scalp tomorrow (50 years of FL sun), hoping to be in good enough shape to meet my brother at Hooters for lunch. I've always used Fluorouracil topical chemo before, hoping this PDT isn't as annoying as Flouro is.
