@ovaltine doesn't mess around. He was my sender in BIF #11 a year ago and he sent me so much that I still haven't finished drinking it all. I am presumably within a couple hours of you, so If the box(es) have already been opened when you get them and a few beers are missing, it wasn't me.

 

Yes, he blew up my porch a couple years ago. In fact, on my last birthday, the beer of honor was a Dark Lord that he sent me!

 

Just remembered a story from my cousin. He's a Florida plankowner, and apparently a Florida-based cigar company sent cigars for the entire crew. Apparently they received them as they got underway for their first deployment and almost everyone lit up at once, and made things kinda gross for a bit. I suspect that's a no-no in today's Navy.

 

Incidentally, while tomorrow will be somewhat taken up with watching basketball (the Zags & my Eagles, specifically), there will be much beer buying for my target this weekend.

 

Looking back at my last couple of hints, it looks like they spiraled down a sort of Lynchian rabbit hole. Which is, in itself, an equally obscure hint #15.
