I crossed you off because of a few hints, but as I said before, your name always has an asterisk next to it until i'm actually really 100% sure.

 

You know what, Nepal was my original guess because I read it as the newspaper screwed up and put the wrong thing down for "Napa" and I was like, what sounds like Napa?

 

Hint time: #1: I am, per usual, shipping south and east.
#2 - My targets state touches a large body of water.
#3 - I have been in my targets county, and I am trying to remember if I've been in her/his town.
#4 - My targets town was/is home to a minimum of 1 Olympic Gold Medal winner.
#5 - My target lives in one of the below states.
