NBS BIF #13: Peninsular Envy 2 (The Rocket-Ball Inception)

Ok, I've definitively ruled out 17 of y'all. I'm circling a couple of you as very close sender contenders, and a few of you aren't giving us much to work with.

 

Well, since I have absolutely ZERO idea who my sender is, and I was in Assembly Hall the day Coach Knight tossed that chair back in February 1985, as I shared in NBW over the weekend, I am calling you out!!!!!

If I am not right, I may have to start a GoFundMe page to help me figure out who my sender is.

 

Y'all want some hints? Well, I've got a trail of bread crumbs and mini-hints trailed back through this whole thread, some of which I didn't even post! Jedi Mind Tricks (plus, like the Enemy of Mankind, there may or may not be some Stoup[e] involved in the box)!
178, 265, 267, 998, 999... some of these could be area codes, but all of them comments include hints of some sort. I'd planned to leave more, but, well, time makes fools of us all.

I've never been much good at anagrams, myself (as you've noticed!) but the randomness of me hitting a new local beer for NBS called Soprano was a nice bit of synchronicity, no?

The "Greta T" hint was itself an anagram of "target," whose letters were rearranged in the exact same pattern "Meadow" had rearranged "Woemad." Obtuse, I know, and then I threw in the Alan Turing reference as a famous code-breaker.

As far as Fury Road goes, I've personally been reminded of Doof Warrior (the flamethrowing guitarist) by your avatar ever since I first saw it. Just replace (finesse) that guitar with a double-necked, flamethrowing version, and you're halfway there.

You were spot-on with Peter Gabriel/WOMAD, of course.

We can leave the pop-culture thing alone for a bit, as one of the beers coming your way will clarify that one.

Hint #5 - My target's state has at least one NHL team.
Hint #6 - I've drank beer from my target's state during 2021.

Hint #8 - While my target provided me a list of beer preferences, barleywine was missing from that list. Was this an oversight? Or does my target not like barleywine? This is a problem because I'd like to send this really lovely barrel-aged barleywine, but maybe I should keep it for myself instead...
Hint #9 - Drilling down a bit further into my target's beer check-ins, it doesn't appear they've had either of the two beers that are ranked #1 in the Czech pilsner and Euro Dark Lager categories. Since it's inevitable I send at least one of those to my targets, I suppose I can include the #1 ranked Czech pilsner as well...

Hint #10 - My target has currently posted fewer hints than I have.
Hint #11 - I recently shipped beer to a member of this BIF that lives in the same state as my target.

Yeah, this had my radar up also... the bad guys reside in the Citadel, which is also a semi-infamous military college in Charleston. So back to square one, no clue.
