Hint #4: Suprisingly, my target’s state’s flagship university has had some trouble with my state’s flagship school in football over the last couple decades.

Hint #5: My town’s population is larger than my target’s (which doesn’t happen often) but my target’s town has mine beat in elevation, though not by much

Hint #6: The last time I was in my target’s state was for a CART race - a British import (not Irish) won that day and his teammate set a then record for the fastest pole speed ever

Hint #7: Perhaps my target could divine another clue by thinking solfegically

Hint #8: An unrelated previous hint is actually a hint for my target

 

The Doof hint was one I was WAY over thinking, running through the Fury Road cast list on IMDB and seeing if there was a link there to something.

 

That would be a location hint. I got it because his target was a previous sender to me, otherwise I'd have no idea.

 

Oddly enough, there's also a Granger in Washington, in the lower Yakima Valley. For reasons not clear, it's studded with 32 life size models of dinosaurs.

Answers to my riddles

Your town is on the exact same latitude as my town. Your town is on the exact same longitude as the Tennessee breweries . I am shipping you beers from two locations. Using the latitudes and longitudes ( not going into the minutes) forms a perfect right angle triangle

The peninsula i was referring to was Cape Cod. There is a peninsula trail in Indiana but Cape Cod is larger

Lake Michigan is your large body of water

Excellent stuff. I hadn't eliminated you, but I was nowhere close to zeroing in on you until the last clue. That made it pretty easy since I've seen that video approximately 8,432 times - and I was in the building, of course. Your kindness in providing that last clue is appreciated more than you can imagine.

Hint #8 - While my target provided me a list of beer preferences, barleywine was missing from that list. Was this an oversight? Or does my target not like barleywine? This is a problem because I'd like to send this really lovely barrel-aged barleywine, but maybe I should keep it for myself instead...
Hint #9 - Drilling down a bit further into my target's beer check-ins, it doesn't appear they've had either of the two beers that are ranked #1 in the Czech pilsner and Euro Dark Lager categories. Since it's inevitable I send at least one of those to my targets, I suppose I can include the #1 ranked Czech pilsner as well...
Hint #10 - My target has currently posted fewer hints than I have.
Hint #11 - I recently shipped beer to a member of this BIF that lives in the same state as my target.

Hint #9: Are you the only participant in your state in this BIF round? If so, then you are not my target.
Hint #10: This group is certainly not from near you, but something about this might hit closer to home musically than you think.

 

New Hint from me, as I seem to be bewildered by the options left for my sender.
Hint # 6 - I have already stated that you have both letters and numbers in your BA name - well, if you take all the numbers that are in your BA name and multiply them, you will actually end up with one of the numbers from your BA name. (Yes, it's math, but nothing like @WunderLlama threw down)

Hint # 1 - I will not be shipping North.
Hint # 2 - Though the box(s) will likely travel through another time zone on its way, my target is in my time zone.
Hint # 3 Interesting history of the area my target lives, apparently a lot to thank the railroad for.
Hint # 4 The song "16 Tons" references, if not the same entity, at least a similar entity, that my targets closest town may have originated as.
Hint # 5 My target has both letters and numbers in their username, which is rather impressive considering how few total characters are there.

 

Haven't been as active here as I'd like with my brother surprising me with a March Madness watching weekend.
