    At Fat heads canton. I got the st fattys Irish red. She got the raspberry sour. The red is spot on as expected. Balanced, mildly fruity. Earthy hops. Just ordered food.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

    Clear, golden yellow body; very fine, slow-rising carbonation bubbles; thick and creamy white head; spidery fingers of foam lace the glass. Mildly floral, strongly herbal hop aroma; esters; dried berries. Well-balanced flavors of light cereal grain with a moderate, pine-like hop bitterness interspersed with earthy herbal notes. Medium body; crisp; moderately dry overall.

    This is a very clean, fairly complex, and well-balanced west coast styled IPA. Simple and elegant.

    I'm closing out the day with Einstok Icelandic Toasted Porter. It advertises toffee, chocolate and Icelandic Roasted Coffee. There are notes of toffee, chocolate and caramel. The coffee doesn't show up until the finish. It's pretty good, I'd have another.

    Side note: Im not drinking this right now but I bought a sixer last week. Its OK but I was claiming how I was getting "estery wheat notes" which I was but then I said " theres probably no wheat in the mash though".....wrongo!
    Says its a wheat Lager on the SA site.
    Have to correct myself when I fk up!
    Also Edit: now I know why I will never buy again....
