Didn't see a thread for this, so here we go.

They have made amazing changes this year: lowered prices, expanded delivery, a new lineup of four-packs, collabs with YOE/North Park/ Rare Barrel...and a whole new presentation.

Their releases this year have been extremely impressive so far, not as tart as in the past, verging toward elegance and more accessible beers as well. It looks like they're looking to position themselves at the top of the sour game in Cali alongside Homage, Sante, RB, and YOE:

    - Chenille and Chenille Nectarine: Wine/Cider hybrids; both are absolutely wonderful. Nectarine one is particularly perfumy and fragrant, like a Slide-light of sorts. I would buy this every time.
    - Saqqara: Nectarine Sour with Chardonnay Skins. Delicious, balanced, floral, astringent.

    - Ad Populum: Rustic Saison: Very nice, clean, bitter, metallic.
    - Slide Down my Cellar Door: One of my Favorite beers of all time, and probably my favorite stonefruit sour of all time. The aroma in this is on a league of its own, playing wonderfully with the honey. Public release too, which is insane... An ode to a peach.

    - Moshi Moshi: Super tasty, puckering, not as sour as last time; bright, plummy, astringent.
    - Cool Babies: This one was a dud imo, with the coconut coming out a bit soapy.

Their first syndicate release was Satori, a cherry and vanilla wild which was beautiful. Along the lines of Cinque and Naraka, but less sweet and vanilla forward. Very cool.

Their next release looks to be interesting, as well: a passionfruit BA wild named Forever Ago.

They are also releasing Berlinerish in 4-packs this week. They have really upped their game this year, I'm very happy to be a (tier-4) member.

First year Syndicate member here (Tier 2). They have definitely been on a role with this years releases so far.

Cheaper Saison du Rosier warrants no complaints

The hits keep on coming with the Brugnon releases this week. I can't get enough of Cellador's stonefruit offerings and these renditions looks particularly tasty - lavender finish? Sign me up!

My Cellador pickup order is growing by the week and I can't wait to make my way up there to pick it up. It looks like they'll be opening the taproom at the beginning of next month too so I'm looking forward to that!

Is anyone here the highest tier membership that requires an invite? I have a buddy in the LA area who is interested.

I'm very unhappy with Cellador right now. They sold out Spring Bourgnon within an hour of releasing to their Tier V members.

No one else had a chance at it. Why they wouldn't reserve at least some for their other members for the posterior release, or make this a Syndicate Tier V exclusive if this was so special, is beyond me. It's simply not cool to not give their other members even a chance. And I'm a tier four.

I also missed on the other variations because of the password thing which I missed from the email. My mistake, but still. God knows I support Cellador immensely, and this is the first time I've had a serious issue with their practice.

Yeah, I went on maybe 15-20 minutes after they went on sale today and couldn't find the bottles anywhere. I looked on their instagram and they were already sold out. Oh well, I'll have to drown my sorrows in a Slide Down My Cellar Door then. There are worse things in the world.

There were 72 bottles of Spring Bright Brugnon for sale. TOTAL. Yes, a ridiculously small release. I know, I know....

I set aside 6 bottles that I plan to share with my fellow Syndicate brethren at Cellador events (a Syndicate bottle-share or two, perhaps?) just as soon as we can all safely get back to those.

In short... Please don't blame Cellador-- blame me.

I truly hope you can make it out to one of the future opportunities to enjoy these beers together. I agree with everything you said about how wonderful the new batches of Cellador beers have been. I love the Chenille lineup, and I think Kevin routinely does magical things with stonefruit these days. I'm really happy with how the new Brugnons turned out, and I hope you and others will agree that they have a deserving spot right next to the other beautiful creations coming out of Cellador on the regular these days.

    Cheers!

Thanks Chris, that was a very reasonable and generous response. I overreacted, so I apologize as well. You guys make beer better, in a world where everyone is trying to turn beer into Jamba Juice or chocolate cake, I respect the commitment to ingredients and beer you guys put out.

And Kevin and the gang are nuking it this year. Best stonefruit sours in the game imo. Bottle share sounds like a great thing to look forward to! Cheers!

Really impressed with the last two Syndicate beers, especially Within You Without You. Happy I decided to join this year.

Nice to hear Cellador is focusing in on making more approachable beers. I left the Syndicate 2 years ago because everything was battery acid. Guess I'll have to try something new from them! Cheers all

I was particularly impressed by Pantomime. Wonderful.

But the three have been amazing.

I was putting together another Cellador order and to my surprise, there are still some extra bottles of Within You Without You and Pantomime available for purchase.
