Jeeze. I'm in the Chicago distro area and I haven't seen it anywhere.

No half liter bottles in Jersey? Those I *do* see pretty often... but only certain styles -- mostly Weizen, though.

 

Yes but it’s weird the bottles (the single 500 ml ones) are always older than the six packs. So I just never buy them I guess.

 

I've seen it hitting Chicagoland stores (social media-wise) within the last week. Should be soon, if not already.

 

I saw it listed at Binny's, but not available at any of their stores.

 

Try the Total Beverage Solution product finder. I found it to be better than Weihenstephaner’s. (The Helles is now in both of their finders.)

Did this, but it doesn't specify the cans -- and the one retailer it showed near me always has terribly aged imports.

 

What are you going to blend here? The Helles with the Hefeweizen!?!

Try searching for the Helles. If you get a hit for a store that also has the Hefeweizen listed then you might be good. They were available at many places just outside my immediate area for a while and then they finally showed up in my county recently.

 

Sorry, Hellaweizen is only available in cans in the California market.

 

Got cans of the Hefe. Haven’t seen the Helles cans yet.

 

Nothing yet here in the PNW area that we've seen around Portland and Seattle. We can't wait for it to arrive. We do a lot of travel trailer camping and glass is a PITA with fragility, bulk, weight and cooling. We do make exceptions for the occasional bottle of wine but beer is always in cans.

 

Did that, but I was in one of the bigger regional retailers the other day -- nada.

Can't run all over the county on beer runs these days, so I'll just have to remain patient.

And no sign of HB's new session Helles either.

 

Finally started to see these at my local in the Boston area 2 weeks ago. Both are terrific out of the van & superior to the old bottled version.

 

Gah - CAN! But yeah would be cool buying them illegally out of a van at a discount!

 

Agreed. Had my local bring in a case of the Helles. Took 2 weeks but worth the wait. A classic, Look, taste the whole 9yds.
