    The meal actually turned out so-so, in my opinion. The cod cooked up perfectly, but the taste seemed kind of, I don't know, too much soy and butter, not enough delicate herbs. Plus the spinach -- Mrs. BeerGoot loved it, but I probably just needed more spinach (I used the remains of a 5 oz package, probably 1/2 of what I needed - with sauteed onions and lemon zest plus feta cheese. Not bad per se, but far from wows-ville (probably needed more spinach and lemon). The 'Uncle Ben's' rice was pretty lousy...should have made some basmati rice with home seasoning ingredients...well, can't win 'em all, plus it's a learning experience...

    Awesome.

    I’ll never tire of seeing these guys early 90s. And then bumping into Mike Watts at a pay phone (remember those?) during the mid 90s in Chicago at the GingerMan in Wrigleyville. He was still driving the tour van at that time with the bullet holes. And he was incredibly nice as I spoke to him minutes before stepping next door for his show.
