Bottle Logic (2021)

Eventbrite has a surprisingly exhaustive list back to 2017. Looks like Byzantine was my earliest miss, but from the sounds of it I don't think that's one worth seeking anyway.

 

I started using Eventbrite with the first bottled batch of Leche Borracho in 2016. (That was the first Stasis Sale after Week of Logic 2016 and the first instance of T3/Level Up/Academy of Exploration/Saving Throw guaranteed presales.)

We released Ground State (2016) and Some Assembly Required in person at Week of Logic 2016. Before that, we crashed BPT with Passionate Dragon and Picture If You Will (2015) and ended up selling Darkstar November (2015) in person at the Tasting Room, as we did with the very first Stasis Project release, Darkstar November (2014).

nope, the spreadsheet is still under "files" in BLTF... starts from B1 Darkstar 2014 and goes all the way to early 2019.

also found my last bottle of ideation kicking around in the back of my cellar. should probably get into that soon as well.

 

Managed to snag four packs of the recent smoothie style berliners that people love. Never had this kind of beer before but excited to try them.

 

The Dole Whip one sounds nuts. Didn’t go for it this morning but hope everyone that did enjoys it.

 

The new smoothie style berliners this week are insane. I wasn’t a huge fan of the past couple releases (PC Load Letter and Pitfalls and Perils specifically), but this is a return to form a la Toes to the Nose. Really great stuff.

 

Single/double mash blend FO bottle series dropping week of 4/4. Showcasing 7 different kinds of vanilla, new bottle every day of the week. Gonna be wild.

Will it only be available for same day pickup?

 

This is when I wish I lived nearby. Going to be hard to justify trying to trade for 7 variations of vanilla stout, a flight would be so much more economical lol...

 

It sounds like it will be same-day purchase and pick-up through their Toast platform, but don’t quote me on that. The post says more details will be released in the coming days. But given the small batch size which is 2 barrels per varietal (55 gallons x 2, bottled into 500ml bottles = 832 bottles, which after shrinkage and packaging will probably come down to about 750 bottles per varietal), I would be surprised if they went the Eventbrite route.

 

All those nilla beers....I fuckin love Bottle Logic.

Good point on the small batches of these....going to sell out instantly even if just for locals

 

FO is one of my all-time favorite BA stouts, I love vanilla stouts in general, and I'm sure these are amazing beers but I'm OK knowing I probably won't taste many, if any, of them.

 

It doesn't appear any of these will make it on tap either. That's a shame - the whales of BL.
