For me, that first Paceña went down pretty easily, so I grabbed another one. I did read the bottle more closely this time, and there is no mention of adjuncts, though there is of the "European malts." Either way, there's such a neutral profile to the whole thing, I will probably be ready to move on to another in a few minutes.

 

In the courtyard with local Belgian Tripel from True Anomaly. Which has become one of my favorite Houston beers, and one of the better American examples of the style IMO. Starting my Chang-Rae Lee marathon, starting with his first novel Native Speaker. I have all his books, but never got around to reading them till now. This is incredible so far.



And the pup, Moe is always on the lookout for something, not always sure what ha. He also just loves being in the sun, he is built for the Houston summers, as it can never get to hot for him
