Okay, reading through this brought me to the realization that some of you are playing on a whole other level, this is amazing.
    Absolutely stunning.

Wow. Just wow. Just when I think I have this BIF thing figured out, I am taught that there are levels and I must level up!
    Beautiful hit Frank!

Yeah it’s been crazy, Just won a random number pull for some bourbon samples in the ISO/FT forum this week too. Given the proven efficiency of the law of averages I’m expecting a return to the usual loooong dry spell, starting now.

Also means I’ve got some karma to pay back.

I did give Powerball a shot, just in case, but that didn’t get very far ($4).

And I know that doesn’t do a thing to hurt business... there’s a shop set up in our little downtown in Aiken, not much bigger than a closet (that’s the shop and the downtown), and when they’re roasting it’s damn near impossible to walk past without going in.

Got a grinder at home and another at work - it’s a way of life!

I left the Blue Apron box there just so you could see the sheer madness of this thing. @Xul just pulled a Japan when they basically skipped the age of sail and shocked big bad Russia. This is Cassidy's first NBS BIF, and wow.

Pictures coming. Eventually. This is a lot.

    I'VE BEEN HIT!!!

Before giving a rundown of @2beerdogs's amazing salvo, let me say two things. First, these 16 cans were all packed into a single USPS Large Flat-Rate Box, easily the most I've ever seen in this particular explosive device. Second, I've only had one of these beers, which is an incredible feat given that I lived in CA for more than forty years of my life. Super-excited, among other things, about getting to try some new, real-deal, born-on-the-West-Coast WCIPAs. First, the photographic evidence:

    And the list:

    Boeman Belgian White Ale
Bottle Logic Black is Beautiful Imperial Stout
Bottle Logic Fractal Curve Peanut Brittle-Inspired Pastry Strong Ale
Pizza Port Taste for Adventure IPA
    Almanac BA Apricot Sournova
    Mason Aleworks Power Player DIPA
    Smog City Solar Wind IPA
Pizza Port Swami's IPA (the only one of these I've had)
Henhouse Good Gracious, The Vapors IPA
    Henhouse Constantine is Charlemagne DIPA
    Henhouse Certified Independent AF IPA
Henhouse x Fort Point Selektor IV Pale Ale
The Bruery Hold the Spoon Imperial Milk Stout
    The Hop Concept IPA
Smog City Strange Times VI DDH IPA
    Smog City Quarantine Machine IPA

Thanks, Derek! This is going to make for an amazing post-Lent return to high-quality beer drinking!

Glad to see that one made it, there should be a USPS flat rate box there as well...or at least that's what USPS tracking is claiming...

Before I get to the absolute devastation @Xul wreaked upon me, I needed to clear up some space in the fridge.

Among the New England hop bombs @Rub_This_BBQ sent me was this "little" guy:

    Wormtown Hopulence (8.6% ABV)

I've got a very detailed review that I'll link below, but what I'll say here is that this is a West Coast-inspired IIPA that reminds me very much of Enjoy By. Damn tasty!

I'll be getting to Cassidy's madness as soon as we finish a virtual showing in Salem (CT, not MA).

Okay, sifting through the detritus, I'm finding the weapons used by @JayORear were as follows:
1xbag of coffee beans from Rival Bro's. (I love good coffee, and am happy to grind beans)
1x8.4oz Free Will Ralphius (interestingly enough, @Victory_Sabre1973 is getting a can of something this size as well)
1x16oz Trillium On Streets (that's right, he's dropping Trillium beers on my ass!)
    1x16oz Trillium Dot Ave
1x16oz Mystery Beer (OMG He got a clue made into a label! I love this!)
    1x16oz Trillium The Streets
    1x16oz New Trail Flannel Weather
    1x16oz New Trail Broken Heels

    Holy Crap!

I've barely begun to make a dent in what he previously sent me, and now Jay has done it again! I'd like to say I'll be getting on this, pronto, but I gotta make a beer run to Idaho today! If y'all stop hearing from me, direct the authorities to look under the enormous pile of cans!

    Thanks, Jay, this is awesome!

Good to see if landed, because I don't trust your post office. They'd done shady things in the past. Where that bottle of Moksa Nutterzzzzz ended up we'll never know. :slight_frown:

I've come to accept that large numbers of people in this BIF own Tardises (Tardisi?) and are not afraid to use them when shipping beer.

Doing The Streets vs. Streets on Streets side-by-side is fun, as long as you don't have to drive (or walk) anywhere afterwards. And Rival's my favorite PA roaster by far, maybe even my favorite East Coast roaster. Forgot to write on the mystery beer that it's 7% and nitro . . . give it a few shakes and do a hard center pour (cold). You'll discover our common pop-culture genre, too:slight_smile:

All right, all right: those are some good boxes. Nice boxes. Perfectly fine boxes.

    You ain't seen nothin' yet.

First, some swag I dug out of this ridiculous first box:

Rum barrel aged chocolate, four stickers, and a Modern Times pentagram button. This is amazing for three reasons:

    1) The chocolate is going to be awesome (if my partner lets me eat any). (There's more chocolate that I found later.)
    2) My (soon to be) step-daughter just got a pin for their birthday, so now we can both wear a pin out in public! Theirs says, "I'm a their, not a she;" while mine says, "I'm probably not religious."

    3) Shockingly, I don't have any Modern Times stickers on my kit (I could have sworn I had that exact same sticker!).

    But then there's the glassware:

Two mystery beers, including (amusing) allergy info and ABV:

One of them is Modern Times, and given the ABV and nut warning, I suspect it's a barrel aged imperial stout with, well, nuts.

Now, the rest of the bottles:

    (The saga continues)
