I loved Karl Childers. My wife would make fun of me when I copied Billy Bob Thornton's "awright then" and she'd say "OK Karl." uhhuuuhhhh

Have a good Tuesday, another 8 hours of mopping floors completed. The good news is that I am 25 lbs lighter than a year ago. After my post job loss fast food binge as I call it last March, I was feeling pretty disgusting. Just checked randomly and was surprised how well the job and calorie counting have done. Just the 1 meal a day and eat whatever til I'm full and get these results. Calories in vs out. Always been the case. Get a decent amount of fat and protein in and everything else really doesn't matter a ton. I tried a low fat diet once and I went insane. Keto was easy, but the refeed weekends were me binging all weekend . Also the way less beer drinking I have been doing as of late has probably helped too. I need to get a bike ride in this week. The bibs are all clean.

Oh here was dinner, it upset my stomach only lightly.

Here is Bo having a crisis in the corner or something. He battled Chuck earlier. Pretty fair match.

Last couple weeks have been pretty shitty and without hope of exit, but at least I have a lot of weed. Lichess puzzles and some leftover Easter brunch mixed up. Eggs, Kielbasa, Butter Green Beans, Au Gratin Potatoes. :+1:

Found a new female vocalist Symphonic metal band. Straight up amazing. Was a one man band til 2015, now getting out a new album this year. @Roguer @GreenBayBA @Urk1127 @Greywulfken

Seapine Brewing Co. -- Pilsner (Bavarian-style pilsner)

    4.28/5 rDev +11.7%
    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

Pale, straw-yellow body; plenty of lively carbonation; thick, white head, frothy and dense. Excellent smell combination blending mild malt scents with a subdued herbal hop and freshly cut grass presence; cracker. Outstanding flavors; rich and subtle grain notes with a very quiet sweetness to offset things; hop bitterness is moderate in character and balances the cereal grain sweetness; clean. Light to moderate in body-weight; crisp; light tone with the residual sugars; soft dryness throughout.

Ah, to be able to acquire awesome beers from afar that aren't locally available. Too bad I only scored a couple of these beers. This is a pilsner that would be in regular rotation with me if it were a mainstay in Colorado. This is a beautiful beer. For a pilsner, the balance and depth are indeed top-notch. Clean and refreshing with enough presence to fully satisfy the palate.

Beer number three is Lervig’s Back To The 90’s, a 6.5% India Red Ale brewed with six different hops, which I’m currently too lazy to list. This is a really good beer. Cheers. [IMG]

First I want to wish @eppCOS a belated Happy Anniversary. Signed in too early yesterday, was a very nice cake yiu baked for your wife, and another solid beer day for you. Cheers!

Co-sign. The beers they produce locally are solid, the mass produced ones brewed in Baldwinsville and Fort Collins don't work for me (IPA, 312, et al). Had a Next Coast last week and plan on having more until the keg is tapped (Oberon and other kegs providing fierce competition).

Loved the two films (the short release with Molly Ringwald and then the full feature release).

One and done with this heavy hitter.

    Revolution Deth's Tar (2020 release)

It's short pants weather, baseball is being played. It's great to be alive!!!

Another tie in from yesterday's thread - today's Two for Tuesday Musical selections:

You're as young or old as you feel! (Their first season was the G.O.A.T.)

Closing scene from Underage Drinking: A National Concern.

It's sunny today in Chicago, but it is ALWAYS Sunny in Philadelphia

Received a check for $13 from the Great State of Illinois for what I have no idea, any way I pissed it away on a 4X12 of Lagunitas Waldos' Special Ale and special it is. Yesturdday I went 0-2, today a home run.
