What seemed like a good idea by the author to include 'Average Price' on each one ended up being 'F it!' at the end.

I would assume Garden Path, the one Ron Extract started after leaving Jester King.

Really enjoyed The Grace of Maybe.

Didn’t get a lot of vanilla, but the peach and lemongrass went well together.

    Liked this one a lot.

KEEPING TOGETHER — PREOCCUPIED WITH MEMORY AND EXPECTATION⠀

Preoccupied with Memory and Expectation is a 6.4% ABV mixed culture saison made with Japanese red shiso leaf, burnt honey, and dry hopped with Sabro hops. This beer presents with notes of wild strawberry, passionfruit, satsuma orange, and honeyed toast beneath a lily-floral perfume. Flavors of white peppercorn, gooseberry, and coconut are carried over the palate and complemented by a creamy, blooming, ocean-spray carbonation. Medium body and silky in texture. Preoccupied with Memory and Expectation is one of the more tart beers in the KT line-up thus far and offers a zippy lemony acidity overlaying a soft, earthy, tea-like bitterness. There is a lot to unpack in this weird beer if you are interested, but it is simultaneously about as easy to sip as an Arnold Palmer.

A note from KT Artist Jessica Deahl @jdeahl — "The art for this label seemed to come together slowly, then all at once. It suited itself to being highly referential, with a deep nod to pop art in Warhol’s flower prints, punctuated by delicate gold Kintsugi-esque line work. It is a study in the balance of disparate ingredients, much like the beer itself."

Bottles will be available for sale ($16/750mL) via online order for curbside pick-up at the @halfacrebeer Lincoln Shop (4257 N. Lincoln, Chicago IL, 60618) and Balmoral Take Away Cafe (2050 W Balmoral Ave, Chicago, IL 60625) on Friday, April 9th.

what’s wrong with 3% beer? There have been many times over the years where I wish the beer shared with me was lower in ABV. Not every beer has to get me drunk. Sometimes I want a beer that won’t get me drunk.

I also like the implication that a table beer is some wild new style

In today’s beer world, all it means is low abv. Doesn’t have to be mixed culture, just has to be 3% or less.

Jester King Le Petit Prince is a distributed Table Beer that I have seen on shelves in multiple states including Chicago

Yes I'm aware I referenced Chicago as a state & I'm ok with that

And Petit Prince is the brainchild of Avery Swanson. At an event a Beer Temple, Avery said that she missed Petit Prince and decided to create The Art of Holding Space because of that.
Afterthought just re released Petit Meer as well. Also a phenomenal little beer inspired by Petit Prince

While on the subject of table beers... Avril by DuPont is seriously so amazing. If that beer was a regular beer on the shelf that I could frequently buy it would be my easy sipping everyday beer. It’s the best rustic session beer in existence. It’s the beer that immediately comes to my mind every time I read the words “table beer”. I miss that beer...
