Good day BAs! Off to a sunny and warm Start to the day - may be dry enough to till my garden today! Today's New Breakfast Beer is one I've not previously rated although I've had it on tap at the brewery:

Decent coffee stout with lactose - rating 3.97, rDev +5.3%.

Good morning BAs! I took yesterday off as a cleanse day. I’m drinking down the IPAs on hand, counting down the days until we leave for Seattle - Tree House’s “Haze”, courtesy of @gbiello :

Canned 3/3/21 and drinking delicious! If only the first 40 or 50 hazies I have tried so far had smelled, tasted and felt this good. I’m a believer in Tree House! Cheers and have a wonderful Wednesday y’all!

[IMG] Clip Out NEIPA 6.8%. Poured on draft into a 20 oz Stein released today. Pours a hazy yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves a thick wave of lace with solid retention. 4.5

Aroma ripe melon, mango, mandarin, and peach. 4.25

Taste follows cantaloupe, mandarin, mango, and peach very low on bitterness and plenty of tropical flavor. 4.25

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 6.8% ABV it may drink bigger in flavor, but really crushable. 4.5

Overall this is a really nice and easy drinking NEIPA. I will be bringing more home. 4.25

Bud Ice and bacon cheeseburger for lunch. Not really a food beer and this high gravity brew has some weight (pun intended) but drinks clean without as much sweetness as the usual AALs. At 5.9% it's a quintessential "it'll get 'ca there" brew and if you're not careful it'll get 'ca there pretty darn quick.

Good day Advocates. Biked three hours and then made an executive decision to skip weights. No upper body, no legs, no core. Nada, zip, zilch. Beautiful day, so outside instead. Will need to transition weights to early morning when the good weather really hits.

Beer is Omnipollo Bianca, a blueberry maple pancake lassi Gose. Normally I wouldn’t be down for this type of thing at all, but as with their pastry stouts I’ve tried, they somehow make it so it works for me. Cheers. [IMG]

So, it’s built for function, not fashion.

I live out in the country and among my neighbors the fact it has Bud in the name makes it premium.

I can relate. I live in a smaller city with a less experimental population, where anything non-macro if feared by many as being strange, with threatening and possibly dangerous flavours. If is doesn’t say Canadian or Labatt on the label, these folks just aren’t having it. Although, these brands control about 90% of the Canadian market, so it’s not just my city. Cheers.

This smells exactly like PB&J! Flavor is more jelly than peanut, but very good!

Probably only a week or two until my first round of golf this year and I’m curious if five plus months of lifting will increase my distance. Of course, strength is meaningless if you lose your rhythm as a result, so harnessing both those horses is the key.

Beer two is Omnipollo Maz, a 5.6% oat Pale Ale. This is a very good beer. Cheers. [IMG]
