Any brewery putting out cask worthy beers should give it a try.

Picked up the wife from the shop, color is awesome. Vibrant!

Poured up some of this beauty while I finished the balcony. Not local @ATL6245 but delicious!

Working on it inside now while I watch the new pup try to get the evil clown on the TV... she’s not a fan of B Horror films I guess...yet....

    Cheers.

Is that the top and inside part of shoulder? That’s a painful spot. She tough. That elbow ditch is a nightmare. I have both mine and it truly is misery. And that’s a large piece too

    “East coast” IPA
    7%

Very aggressive pour doesn’t yield much. Probably too cold. But of the two other NJ ipas ive had this week, this one is actually the best. Hides the 7% well. Fruity. Tropical and old school same time. The backbone feels English like an English pale but dry hopped to the point of wcipa. I really really like this.

Backside/inner part of upper arm, but yeah she said a few spots (head of the jelly) basically in her ditch was awful. Lol. She’s used to it.

Watching the Sox losing early today. A beer will help.

Most Goose Island beers brewed here are solid, including this one.

Thanks @LarryV for posting the Beer Advocate Jam session yesterday, the sing and playing were both excellent.

Stayin’ close to local with the jukebox song playing live.

    So funny
I’ve had dogs my whole life and Pitties the past 35 years and in all of my years , I’ve only had one dog that ever reacted to anything on the tv - of course with the HD things are very realistic , but I always found it funny that only that one guy just hated animals on the tube . Lol
He attacked even Rudolph the Reindeer and trying to watch GOT was a nightmare with all of the horses, wolves and dogs - it was crazy

    CHEERS !!

    ps - Beautiful Tat

Watching the Mariners has been quite the exercise in this early season, but I'm doing it again today, as they finish up a series against the ChiSox. Holding them scoreless to this point, so, hopeful?, Anyhow, a friend of mine made trip to Oregon, and grabbed me a can of Heretic Juicier Than Thou. A fairly average murkster.

She is starting to learn there isn’t any reward chasing it. First few times she tried going under the TV when they moved LOL.

Good afternoon! Fighting off a bit of blah today after getting round 1 of the vaccine yesterday. I'm certain this beer will help. Cheers!

[IMG] Tonight's Blind Battle Beers (All three pairs were correctly identified in the blind taste test):

    1) Carlsbad Danish Pilsner (5.0%): A Danish Pilsner with some light lemon hops and drinks smooth on the end.
    versus
    2) Warsteiner Pilsner (4.8%): A German-style Pilsner that drinks with clean and crispy, grassy, and toasty German cracker flavors.

    3) Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ Sumpin' (7.5): An unfiltered and hoppy ale that has resinous and dank orange, pineapple, mango flavors.
    versus
    4) Surly’s Get Loud! IPA (7.2%): An hazy wheat IPA from Surly that has strong Belgian and coriander spices while also having a respectable grapefruit citrus balance. Atop a wheat malt backbone and finishes smooth.

    5) Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale (4.5%): An traditional Irish Red Ale that has strong amber, red fruit, and root beer flavors, yet finishes light, dry, and drinkable.
    versus
    6) Boulevard’s Irish Red Ale (5.8%): An American take on a traditional Irish Red Ale from Kansas City that has very mild aromas and flavors. Some faint caramel and brown malts.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners:

    2) Warsteiner Pilsner: This one has fantastic grassy and toasty German cracker flavors. Perfectly balanced to be flavorful, dry, and drinkable.

    4) Surly’s Get Loud! IPA: Exceptional stuff here. This one has a pleasantly delicate balance of Belgian coriander and grapefruit citrus. Drinks incredibly soft atop the wheat malts just like a NEIPA. I think this may be one of the first Belgian NEIPAs I've tried, and this style could really catch on.

    5) Smithwick's Irish Red Ale: A traditional Irish Red Ale. This one wasn't so good as much Boulevard's was bad. Surprised Boulevard did such a bland beer. Smithwick was way better and a whole 1% lower in ABV.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you tried Warsteiner Pilsner and do you have a favorite pilsner?
Have you tried Surly's Get Loud and do you think the Belgian NEIPA style could catch on?
Have you tried Boulevard's Irish Red and were you equally disappointed?

Now here's an amazing find. I was at Jungle Jim's in Cincy on Monday while passing through the area, the rep from Sonder Brewing was standing nearby checking the inventory and we struck up a conversation, very cool guy. This is one he recommended from their brewery so I went for it and no regrets. Wayne ... wherever you are in Ohio right now THANKS for the recommendation, this is some pretty tasty shah!!!

My dog Rex would walk over to the speakers and lay down when I played Dogs by Pink Floyd. His ears were on alert during the quiet moments when the dogs howl.
