I mean, they could easily do can releases as long as they do it the way they’ve been doing since the pandemic started and don’t go back to in person lines.

That place is going to make so much money. What a brilliant move. Huge congrats to Henry, Adriana, and the whole crew

What's the cold storage situation like, though.

Actually, I take back what I said after seeing Paddy O's is up for lease across the street. Clearly Monkish missed out on some prime real estate

Been reading speculation (which I tend to agree with given the parking situation at the Packing District) that Monkish OG taproom will not open back up (or if they do, for very limited days / hours) and will serve as their location for can releases ... while OC will not have can releases but serve as their every day taproom (assuming with growler fills). Kinda makes sense as I don't see this parking situation being sorted out for drops.

Maybe the Monks will have delivery services around parts of Orange County?

If this is true, I will be seriously disappointed.

There is a large parking garage on Mito Way that is a 4 minute walk from the Anaheim location.

Parking is not that bad at the Packing House. There’s plenty of residential street parking in the area if you are willing to walk 5-10 minutes. Kind of like the can release days at Torrance years ago where the closest street parking would be down at 205th and Gramercy. Get your steps in before consuming hundreds of empty calories.

Yeah what balls said. Parking really ain’t all that bad in the area. A little walking ain’t gonna hurt the body. I average around 6-8 miles a day on a 16hr shift at LAX. It’s good for the body and soul. Then you drink.

I've heard that the OG brewery going to be for can releases & the new one is going to be for pours, but these are just rumors. I really do hope Henry releases beers out of both locations. Hopefully we don't go back to the lines because it's so easy now a days to just pull up and take off within 10 minutes.

Only offering draft in OC doesn't make sense. I get why they can only offer draft at OC (Packing House rules I'm guessing), but then it's like, "Oh if you want to buy cans of this, go to Torrance." Then you go to Torrance, and if you want to try it, it's like, "Oh if you want to try this, go to Anaheim." I can understand why they haven't reopened the Torrance location for draft, but it seems like they should at a certain point, no?

Unless they converted the taproom into tank space
