    Good morning advocates.

I haven’t purchased anything from Founders in a while, but when I saw Panther cub available, based on the reviews in this thread I thought why the hell not.

It’s very good, as usual from Founders the flavors are pretty straightforward. We are talking vanilla and maple syrup here. Interesting.

    Cheers...

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread! Off to a foggy start to the day outside, and today's New Breakfast Beer has added a little fog to my brain too:

A true NEIPA (Thanks Bill!), smells and tastes like it should, even looks like a massive UTI, which, I gotta admit, might prejudice me slightly. Rating 4.33, rDev -7.3%

Good Morning @Shanex ! Nice to see you with a nice beer today. I've begun to narrow purchase of the pastry stout variety, but may pick up a Panther Cub single if I can to try it. I typically enjoy a nice barrel only imperial stout over one with adjuncts.

Locked my Revolution Cuvee purchase yesterday to pick up Friday, will also pick up one or two more four packs including a Founders 4 Giants. I opened this one from the fridge, watered the grass for 20 minutes, and it is at perfect full flavored temperature upon my return for this post.

Revolution Double Barrel Very Special Old Deth (V. S. O. D.)

After aging for a year in the prior year's Deth Tar batch, select barrels were aged a second year in Weller Special Reserve Barrels and Weller 10 year barrels. The result, pure excellence.

Speaking of double, two from Chicago's very own Bud Freeman, born 115 years ago today. He was backed by Carl Kress and George Barnes on the guitar for these two recordings.

Wishing you a wonderful beer and music filled day!

Some days I feel like a loser 'cause all I have are the same beers day after day after day. See what a pain it is to live where I do? More home-brew.

    @beerthiefdotca ,

I planned on hitting the Maritimes and possibly a venture into Newfoundland and Labrador last Summer, but Robert Burns nailed it a few centuries ago as travel shut down.

What style did you brew? It looks like a very good beer.

Do you name your beer creations? Do you enjoy the process? What are your favorite beers to brew and drink? If you could get a steady shipment of domestic and international beers shipped to your local store, what would they be?

My brothers and a few friends homebrew, perhaps I'll get as ambitious one day (likely year/decade...) but for now I'm settling on my great local brewers.

    Hi Advocates!
Another fleeting drink on what should be a lunch break.

    Mister B (ITA) - BAZOOKA - Double Ipa (8,2%)

0.50cl plastic take away bottle tapped from the keg.
Amber, not completely transparent but quite "clean"
    Abundant and soft foam.
On the nose tropical fruit, citrus fruits (grapefruit) and resin.
In the mouth the entrance is soft, with malty hints that precede the fruity and herbaceous contribution of the hops.
Robust body, fairly short taste path (tropical fruit, citrus peel and resinous and woody notes), dry finish and a fairly contained bitterness.

Good morning BA's. It a gorgeous Tuesday in North GA. Lucky for me, it's my night to cook (wife is diligently working on a paper for her advanced degree). Thought I would experiment with a marinade. Using a Vienna Lager from Arches Brewing with grilling marinade recipe. Letting this marinade until after 5pm and I'll cube the chicken then grill as kabobs. Of course, this gave me the opportunity to drink a crisp, refreshing Bibo Pilsner from Creature Comforts. Have a great day folks!

Ah, another from Founders I haven’t had yet.

KBS and its Fudge variant. Great stuff again. As if I wasn’t tired enough by another long day of painting the walls and assisting my painters friends and back and forth local Home Depot trip, I’m sure the 11% in this beer will knock me out for good.

Stone IPA. A supermarket beer here. It used to come from their place in Berlin. But since they sold the place to Brewdog in 2019, it is US cans again.
I guess Stone misjudged the German beer-market in a big way some years ago. Indeed all beer is cheap in Germany (lowest prices for beer in Europe I believe), but most of it is good too, if not awesome like some the classics we all know.
    Cheers!

Good day Advocates. Something new for me to start, which is Lake Of Bays Brewing Company DIPA with elderberry. It’s good and ten years ago could have easily made it into the regular rotation. However, Ontario now has a deep roster of high quality IPA’s, making this a one and done for this beer drinker. Sorry for the double pic, not sure what happened there. Cheers. [IMG] [IMG]
