Having a Guayabera from CCB, I’ve moved out on back deck that I pressure washed today. The weather is gorgeous and now I have a deck that needs painting.

This just arrived in my city, so was likely Covid delayed by 4-5 months, as the LCBO overwhelmingly does not release RIS’s in the spring and this was probably meant to be part of the winter release. It’s a shade thin on the mouth feel but has all the robustness on the nose and in the flavour that I look for and expect in a RIS. Will probably pick up half a dozen more and sit them for the next fall/winter drinking season. Cheers. [IMG]

Ha! Seeing as what you were drinking I’m sure you weren’t supporting those pesky Parisians...

I had Nelson for the first time only some months ago, while pretty good this wasn’t mind-blowing as I’d have expected. Have they watered it down?

I get my second COVID-19 shot tomorrow. Staying hydrated prior is highly encouraged, but I didn't care for how water made me feel...I'm sure beer is a fine alternative...

It's just not the legendary beer that it once was. The McIlhenneys aren't involved anymore. Too much to re-hash. I still think it's a decent beer, all things considered.

No worries and thanks for the concise reply. I wasn’t hoping for a lengthy soap opera about what happened to this beer. Cheers!

Camping with the RV the next two days...I’m mostly set up for the evening...beer time! Drinking Civil Society’s “Catch The Beat”, a DIPA:

Refreshing! A sunny 77°, but my spot is mostly in the shade and there is a healthy breeze coming off the water...Cheers from Madeira Beach, FL!

Ultra Amber after a 3 mile run/walk on the hottest day of the year, 92 feels like 97. Haven't run in 6 weeks so starting back with the Jeff Galloway training method.

I have wanted this beer that last few nights but got too full. Thought I would start with it tonight and maybe not need dinner.

I got the second shot at 9am a few weeks ago and made sure to stay hydrated the whole day. I don't remember much about that day and could blame the shot for being lazy the next day.

Color Me Disappointed. Enjoy By 04.20.21 Slazy Hazy IPA is too dry and bitter. Stone usually impresses but not this time but 'Leave No Stone Unturned' and I was excited when I saw it at Total Wine.
I just finished Tom Hanks' 'Greyhound' and feeling like I did after I saw 'Lone Survivor'. Like I'll never watch that again.
