Thoughts on the Vienna Lager? Half way through one right now and pretty luke warm on it. It's fine, but if memory serves me correctly (it often does not), I liked Dovetail better. Haven't had the Goldfinger version...yet.

 

Haven’t tried it yet. Dovetails is pretty damn good. Elliot Ness by Great Lakes is my favorite from the style.

 

It’s a serviceable attempt IMO. Certainly not on goldfinger or DT’s level, but I appreciate P3’s continued lager efforts. The Oat Lager, German pils, and Polish pils are standouts to me. I usually look forward to P3’s lager attempts unlike a certain other DIPA heavy brewery

Eunoia b2 individual bottle pours today

 

How is it? Sitting on a bottle of that. Will crack it soon.

 

You didn't ask me, but I had a bottle recently...and it was great!

There is a LOT of coconut chunks floating in this beer, which I found visually unappealing, but the coconut flavor is strong and the cinnamon muted, which is right up my alley if the two are paired in a beer.

The mouthfeel is divine as usual with a Shaun stout; like liquid velvet.

 

Wife and I got the last on-site bottle of Minutiae this evening. I thought it was really well done. As we were finishing up, my wife proceeded to spill half a glass. #lightweight

And the new tye-dyed shirts are pretty sweet. Bought one and got the first compliment from my 8 year old in probably 3 years, lol.

 

Another forum member graciously opened a b2 last weekend and I thought it was fantastic, as it has been the other times I’ve had it. I could be convinced to say b2 is the best of all the batches.

I haven’t had B4 yet, but I’d go B2 > B1 > B3

 

haven’t seen the shirts. Are hey P3 or Lulz? Minutiae is really great. That and Sir Blends a Lot were great late 2020 beers

 

it’s wonderful. Hard to give too much critique to the Eunoia. Wonderfully thick with copious amounts of coconut. Cinnamon was very subtle and the floaties were minimal in my pour. Highly recommend opening your bottle at your next convenience.

unfortunately I was told that the bottles kicked tonight. Maybe they will open more for tomorrow but I am guessing room needs to be made for Eunoia Batch 3 and 4 as we enter the weekend.


I would go as far as guessing we may see the ambassador only beers of curv b5 and Neapolitan Quills make an appearance as well. I’ve heard reports that the keg versions (vs bottles) did not suffer the same fate. I think the weekend will be huge for p3 so make time if you can!

 

I was more fond of b1. Call me a peanut butter *****.

B1>B2>B3 for me. Also had Minutea and while good, probably great, nowhere near its hype level in realm of whale lore.

 

I don't say this lightly, as I'm NOT usually a big fan of maple in beers. But...

B4 >>>>>>> all other Eunoia beers.

 

So I’m a Eunoia noob. I’ve only had one so far which was a b4 and was blown away. Best BA Maple stout I’ve ever had. I immediately hoarded 2 more b4 bottles plus a b2.
