I just got this at the 3 Floyds Brew Pub today. It is not numbered, I believe I was the first one to grab one today. It is a bourbon barrel aged version of Baller Stout.

Is the bottle like the other BA beers or a lot nicer like the BA DLs? If it is nicer, let's see a pic.

BA Dark Lord was $50, so if I'm being completely honest, I'm a little surprised it's not more expensive...

Now was this put into barrels immediately, or was it poured from bottles that wouldn't sell into barrels?

They are just looking to see how much money they can squeeze out of people.

I agree, and I think $50 is a fair price for a BA beer where the base beer is $30. I won't be spending $50 on it personally, because I didn't love Baller Stout and I don't think a year in barrels is going change that. Still, I think the price is reasonable all things considered (and I think $30 is reasonable for Baller Stout given all that went into making it, but in a vacuum the end product isn't worth >$1/oz)

I was told it is a blend of the 4 base beers, Dark Lord, Surly Darkness, De Struise Black Albert, and Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch, all bourbon barrell aged for 13 or 14 months and then blended and bottled.

So what you're saying is it's a blend of a blend of a blend of a blend of a blend of a blend of a blend?

No, those were the 4 beers blended to make Baller Stout. The new release is a those four base beers bourbon barrel aged separately and then blended together after being aged for 13 to 14 months.

    Debate about price: check

Comment about FFF beers not being worth it: check

For this to be an official FFF thread, we are still waiting on:

    - 'Is there any left' (I will also accept 'how long do you think it will last' or 'how many bottles do they have')
    - A dontcounttoday comment
    - Number of cases remaining on shelves in Dekalb

dontcounttoday being the OP makes it an official FFF thread without other qualifications.
