Good day BAs! Of to another damp, dreary start for a Saturday. Today's New Breakfast Beer is from @Rub_This_BBQ and NBW BIF #13:



Decent brew but not spectacular - 4.08, rDev -8.9%.

Bell's Kalamazoo Stout



Long story short, this is a very good stout, well balanced as the hops balance out the sweet flavors of roast malt, chocolate, coffee and licorice. Highly recommend.

Speaking of highly recommended, today's Saturday Morning Flashback on WXRT features 1971, the 50th anniversary and to me the greatest and my favorite year in music. Here are two to start the day.

Good morning BAs! The dogs have been walked and fed...the kitchen is a work in progress. My morning coffee on the patio...working on the 750ml bottle I opened a couple of nights ago - Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout (2021 Lottery):



Bottled 2/26/21. Poured at 52°. Bittersweet dark chocolate, cinnamon, hot chillies sauce. Delicious. A drizzly 78°, hot and humid. I’ll hang the bird feeders, then go indoors. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

 

This beer was part of the last haul @scream gave me! It is quite a special beer!

Up early as usual - did 2 mile doggo walk before 8 am, cleaning up in kitchen, laundry done and hung outside to dry....whew - I needs a beer!
