    Cross post with New Beer Sunday #842 embedded in the New Beer Weekend thread. This is both a new to me brewer and beer from the Southwest Suburbs.

    Goldfinger Vienna-Style Lager

    Long story short, this is a very sweet beer, less hop presence than anticipated, very light, easy and enjoyable this morning.

    Going to stick with the 1971 playlist until my set is done. Glad I inspired @champ103 yesterday with my preview, excellent album as always. I get exposed to so many great new to me songs with your posts!

    I really miss Sunday mornings Maxwell Street.


    My favorite Irish musical artist.

    Haven’t been posting and won’t be as much for some days because my near 91 yo grandma passed away last Thursday. I visited her with my mother and uncle while she was on the hospital bed, on a respirator and unconscious. Hard to keep the tears inside...

    She was born in May 1930, was a little girl when the Wehrmacht invaded northern France and a young teen when the US Army and allies liberated France. She had fond memories of American soldiers handing out cigarettes and candies to the French population. She was an incredibly kind, generous and hard-working woman. Hence why I was devastated.

    Raising my beer today for her, you were one of a kind!

    RIP Grandma G. My family will always remember you.
