    Stopped in for the tap takeover yesterday and Geriz passed out some samples of a seven beer blend that he said is coming out on 4/20; Masters of Excavation. I cannot remember all the stouts that are in it, but it was solid; not too sweet with some barrel.

    As for the takeover itself, my order would be Obercreek > Fidens > District 96 > Mortalis. Did not like the Mortalis stout at all, it was like drinking liquid sugar.

    You guys probably don't care but OH cans have shown up down here at a bottle shop in Virginia Beach. Kind of crazy, they must be making so much beer they need to spread it around a bit?

    Hmm, sounds interesting. In regards to Mortalis, that seems to be how I feel as well. I tried one of their stouts at Green City and it was soooo sweet. I have tried a few of the fruited beers at Grand Delancey and they were also really sweet and just not what I want to drink but I can see the appeal of it.

    Circle logo (Brooklyn) are at my brother's grocery store in the 'burbs of Milwaukee. It's good news bc you get free shipping from the source bc they need to move product, sorry mules.

    Much too much is lightly melony. I think
    I thought that and much too much both had a sweet melony thing (but not intensely melony like the best ones)

    Drinking a rum BA snowbirds and it's awesome. I'm disappointed by rum BA stouts but this is so good. It's like brown sugar syrup.

    Laced up a pair of new balance, put on a pair of freshly ironed blue jeans, and hit the big city. Times Square, Empire State, then a (paid) boat tour. Hit OH on the way home and got some triples and pastries. Great day!

    If anyone is interested in the stout, it is definitely better than the average OH stout though don't expect it to blow you away.
