My wife and I had two doses of Moderna. A little local reaction for me, but my wife was wiped out for a day. Tired, achy, but no fever. She's been fine since she recovered.

Got my latest Beer Drop package and thought I'd open up The Oswald, a NEIPA. Not bad.
Supposed to get into the 80s today, so the pool will likely get some action.

Another local brew, I was pleasantly surprised to find it quite good in style. I guess it makes sense to use a German pilsner glass for a German style pilsner.

I'm closing out Tuesday with a Bell's Official, a Hazy IPA. It's a real looker, with a great head and beautiful lacing. There's notes of pineapple, orange, mango and peach. A pretty nice beer.

We stopped at her parents and got the bike. At Nocterra brewing now. Moroccan swell gose is amazing! Big jammy cherry and tangerine juicy flavors. Nice wheat backbone. Tart crisp clean finish. No puckering acid. Super refreshing. 4.35

Too me the aromas are indistinct, tastes just wonderful.

Finally made it back to the library, found some old Moody Blues music which (IMHO), never gets enough air play anymore. (Thanks to METV FM radio) for this morning's flashblack!

Nocterra phase 2 ipa. Excellent. Big red grapefruit and tangerine with good size pine/rinds bitterness. Light tropical. Great classic hop profile. Simcoe/Comet/Amarillo. Bready malt backbone. Lingering resin dryness. Min astringency. Spot on west coast. 4

Good day Advocates. Have about 125 bottles/cans coming into the house over the next few days, including twenty never before tried beers. Should be fun.

First post workout beer, which is one of the better DIPA’s to come out of Ontario recently. Cheers. [IMG]
