Good day BAS! Snowing here on the tundra of NW PA - grass is covered but the streets are still bare. Maybe it'll freeze the blossoms off my apple trees. Today's New Breakfast Beer comes from @Rub_This_BBQ and NBS BIF #13, thanks Bill!

Decent example of the Dry Irish Stout but seems a tad thin to me - rating 3.87, rDev -0.8%.

Good morning BAs! And thank you @Ozzylizard for getting us going this morning...the usual dogs and kitchen chores done, must be coffee time - KBS Espresso:

Bottled 10/21/20. Poured at 53°. Bitter roast coffee as the stout warms; not as much chocolate as KBS. Down to my last couple of bottles. Cheers and have a waggery Wednesday y’all!

Dominion Ale is still an industrial lager s far as I can tell. Bennett brewery was bought by Molson many years ago. This is one of half a dozen beers between Molson and AB InBev that are brewed exclusively in Newfoundland. For myself if I drink industrial lagers I will only drink NL options. Why would I drink crap from anywhere else? To me this an India at least have some semblance of flavour and I try not to buy AB InBev products.

Early lunch with my old friend Bud. Well, the beer isn't old, fresh actually, but my association with the brand goes back a ways.

Morning! Yes, beer me. I need it. Pleasantly surprised to find St Bernardus abt 12 finally available easily and cheaper than in a beer store.

[IMG] Cold Yellow And Hoppy Cryo Loral hops 6.5 and an amazing Buffalo chicken sandwich. Poured into a 20 Stein released on 4/20/21. Pours a hazy yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves this lines of lace with solid retention. 4.5

Aroma tangy orange, pineapple. Passionfruit, and a little apricot. 4.25

Taste follows orange tang, passionfruit, pineapple, and again a little apricot but for me the orange tang stands out in a good way. 4.5

Mouthfeel is medium, soft gentle carbonation, not dry or sticky, and at 6.5% an easy drinking crusher. 4.5

Overall this is an excellent brew, will be bring a 4 pack home. 4.5

Brown ale brewed with mesquite beans. One of my local favorites. Woody, honey sweetness finishes clean.

I hear you. I tried some NA beers and didn’t see the appeal. If I’m going to drink beer, I want and need both some alcohol and flavors into it...

But my opinion can be challenged.

Had to finally take off. Hanging in Puerto Rico having a beer with my father in law who I help convert to good beer. He managed to find one I hadn't tried yet. Bell's Official. Cheers. [IMG]

Ok Advocates, we have an exciting afternoon/evening of new Collective Arts beers to try, beginning with the English IPA. I greatly prefer the American and Belgian styles but was curious about what they would do and deemed it worthy of a four pack. It’s very good. A worthy example of the style. Cheers. [IMG]
