Haven’t had this one in awhile. Hell, hadn’t even seen it in awhile. Delicious and affordable. Nice combo of ingredients. One and done...shot.

After work, stopped by Whistle Punk to try the TIPA they brewed in collaboration with Hello Brewing:

Having been released on 4/20, and being named Freshly Cut Greenery, I expected a weed-esque dankbomb, but it was actually a pretty mellow hazy. Went well with an order of Fancy Nancy's.

Now drinking a Westbound Train at Brick West.

District 1 Brewing Company. Stevens Point WI. Red Owl Amber. Lager - Vienna, 5.8% Abv, IBU:29
    4.03/5 rDev +7.8%
    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

Picked up a 32oz can crowler at the tap room.
Look: Transparent reddish amber. decent very light tan fine head that leaves just a little lacing.
Smell: Bread, toasted bread, sweet malt
taste: Three layers of flavor : first layer is brief slightly bitter hops. next layer is caramel sweet malt with bread. then it goes back to slightly bitter on the finish. A hint of grain mixed in at the start and finish. The hop notes are German/Austrian (grain/earth/herbal/floral and maybe grassy).
Feel: malty and slightly syrupy, thick for a 5.8% beer

This a good beer. It was the first time visiting this taproom. I had sample/small pours only since i was driving. This one sampled the best. 4.09/5
