Good day BAs! Starting the day off with a light dusting of snow - the roofs are covered but there's only a few small patches on the ground - blue skies and sunny so it won't last long. Today's New Breakfast Beer is an excellent impy stout from @Rub_This_BBQ in NBS BIF #13:

Quite good - no adjuncts found - rating 4.21, rDev 0% (First review).

Good morning BAs! Thank you @Ozzylizard for opening the virtual bar again this morning...I slept in late this cool, beautiful, and sunny clear blue skies day...lovely morning for a long, 60° dog walk.

Chores done, it’s coffee break time - finishing off the bomber of Arkane’s “Dessert Eagle - Turtle”:

Bottled 2020, February?, for TBBW March 2020. Poured at 53°. Creamy smooth, full minus feel. A BBA Imperial Stout with Pinellas Chocolate, caramel and pecans added. Not adjuncty feeling. Delicious! Cheers y’all!

Blackstack may be my favorite NEIPA producer in the upper midwest. This is another solid example, but middling to slightly underwhelming compared to their other releases. Typical assortment of tropical and orange fruits with grassy pollen on the nose, a heavily citric arrival and an odd transition to candied grass midpalate into the finish.

Also my first written review here on BA!

This is beer #3000 for me. When I joined BA in 2005, I never expected to still be here today, but this site grows on you. I don't drink as much beer as I used to, but my enjoyment of beer is unabated. I am looking forward to another 3000 beers (although I'll probably be 100 years old by that time!).

Always see this in dusty old bottles, but my local Craft Beer Cellar just got it in, so I trusted it was fresh. And it is.
