Cross post from the Bock tasting thread:

A new beer, and new to me brewery this afternoon - Bayboro Brewing, St. Petersburg, Maibock:

Pale amber with excellent clarity; off white head, poor cap retention; thin ring and a few spots of lace initially. Caramel malt nose. Caramel malt, light bready sweetness. Medium full body, moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 7% abv; dry, dusty feel to the finish. Overall, a pleasant caramel malt aftertaste; fine drinking for the style.

I added beer today. First brewed last Friday... Cheers!

Viking DNA, growing up in Wisconsin, hydration, strategic pacing, mid-session exercise, and eating a lot of healthy food is my secret to an all-day Saturday session of complete success, where Saturday evening and Sunday morning are beautiful! However, it seems that if I am in a setting where I start chatting with attractive women, the whole formula is usually not followed as precisely, and unfavorably conditions follow. I usually have a wonderful Saturday if I only interact with my dog and WBAYDN. That is my plan for today.

This might be one of the best new Bell's IPAs I've had in a while. A little too expensive tho. $17.99 for a 6 pack so I probably won't buy it again.

Up next is Stowaway, a "Northwest Hoppy Pale" according to the label, by Old Schoolhouse Brewing over the wilderness of Winthrop WA. A murky pale with some pine, and citrus on the finish.

    Howdy BAs.
8 mile run in, 50+ miles for the week, no injuries so far (at 50). Haven't done this kind of injury-free running since my 20s.
Half Acre Parrot of Paradise IPA.
Prolly one and done, as I host a meat-world friend later for a backyard beer or two.
But definitely back tomorrow with some -bock action.
    Cheers und Prost!

A Tree House beer in a bottle? Weird, but it is what it is. Tempo Pilsner. It's good, but is kinda fruity for a pilsner, and I don't know if I love that aspect of it. Nice and crisp though, so they're on the right path.

Went to a Sushi restaurant. My fave pre-covid. Miss this a lot and the Sapporo never tasted so good.

Changing things up a bit - need something a bit lighter to cleanse the palate from the bocks!

I'm grocery shopping at my local Harris Teeter Grocery Store, with just a quick stop at their Pub. I know grocery shopping and a beer pub in one? Genius!
I'm drinking a Delirium Nocturnum draft, It's just damn delicious! It just gets better as you drink it, and I want another one........
    But, back to shopping.
    Cheers!

More beer. Jack's Pilsner beats the hell out of Southern Crisp grapefruit lager. More metal as well.
