What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3110

This will get my Monday started right. Cheers all.

 

Good day BAS! It's starting off to be a sunny morning - blue sky, birds singing, and robins in my yard tracking down earthworms like terminators hunting humans. Today's New Breakfast Beer, thanks to @Rub_This_BBQ and NBS BIF #13, a seductive barley wine:



Damn good, particularly for a brewery best known for NEIPAs. Rating 4.2, rDev -5.2%.

 

Another lovely day here in SWFL...on the patio enjoying the coolish morning breeze with the dogs, and a KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge to start the day:



Bottled 10/15/20. Poured at 57°. Six months old and still Fudgy delicious...one of my favorite beers from 2020. The maple is subtle, I get a hiccup of coffee, and the chocolate fudge is divine. Not much bourbon, but the oak imparts some dryness to the finish. I hope Founders brings this variant back in the future. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

Today's menu: hazy NEIPA from State 48 Brewery in Surprise, AZ

Grilled/roasted lamb loin chop, grilled whole orange bell pepper (best way to do it), red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and red cabbage slaw. Low 90s here today.

Wonder if Pabst will ever start brewing their own beer, not that they own a brewery in California, or if it's part of a deal they made with Miller-Coors to in terms of their contract brewing deal. This is a solid AAL, regardless.

 

Pretty nice day out here... the snow is almost gone.
Lifted weights and rode the MTB out to the lake.

Not what I remember it being, but still really good.

 

Drinking The Streets from Trillium right now. Looking into a studio in a new small apartment building that opened up a few months ago right off Broadway in my little city, nice location, pretty good looking inside, realtor wants me to tour and apply tomorrow, double the cost of living with roommates around here, hope I can get it and move out of this old ass house soon, we'll see. Cheers all!
