I've had questionable service at Pro Pig a couple times so I just go straight to Blackback and when in the area. If I choose to cross the street, it's only to CBC Waterbury

This guy gets it. Only thing he forgot to mention was The Old Stagecoach Inn’s breakfast.

Jokes on you, @Mikecap IS the Stagecoach ghost. He haunts you if you don't order the huevos rancheros at breakfast.

Lost Nation's food menu kicks ass. I swear to god, I ate the pork belly BLT one night and woke up in the middle of the night thinking my life was ending. It was then and there that I found out how real the meat sweats are.

I don't know if that is a persuasive anecdote one way or another, but seriously, their food is great.

Nothing reconciles the several beers of the previous day quite like a run up Route 100 followed by huevos rancheros.

The chef from Lost Nation is actual at the Three Penny Taproom in Montpelier now. The food was always good at TPT but it has been lights-out.

Was there yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to see it on draft, never mind LUKR tap.

Not trying to break stones and my vision is poor as it is. That said, can’t even decipher what this photo depicts.

If I understood it right I think it's same recipe as it usually is, but with organic malt. Seems like their hope is to move to entirely organic ingredients (if not local where possible), but acknowledging that's unrealistic in the near term due to supply constraints. Wouldn't surprise me if that's also part of the reason for the price increases.

Went up this past week for the first time since September. Weather was absolutely wild for late April, straight up winter from northern NH on. Was extremely quiet in Greensboro, probably in part due to weather and in part due to it being midweek. A bit surprising given the bananas takeaway list at the moment. Made me a little extra sad at the taproom remaining closed given that it would have been one of those perfect days up there without an infinitely looping line to the bar.

I don't have a refined palate by any means, but the Edward I got tastes like...Edward. Maybe a bit more grainy, but that could just be me trying to find something different.

Glad to get some Arthur, Edith and Brother but damn I miss Anna. Can't wait to have that again.
