I get weekly emails from a local pizza brew pub spot and there is a pun each week.

    Things like this

Hear about the pizza place on the moon? Great food - no atmosphere.

A bicycle can't stand alone. It's just two tired

    Enjoy

Interesting thread topic. Thanks for starting it, Bill.

Bell's Eccentric Cafe has several unique features as part of the decor. There are a couple stained glass windows that have some 3-D glass in them, and the windows each have a fishing scene.

Then hanging on a wall among all of the other beer-related brewerania is what looks like it's probably an original wooden sign from the famous English pub, The World's End.

And in the hallway near the restrooms are 30+ Michigan vanity license plates that are hung in a grouping. The plates depict various spellings of Bell's beers like 2 HRTD or other words that relate to Bell's. (No idea if these are real or reproductions.)

The cafe is an interesting place. I think I took a pic of the license plates once, but I'm traveling for a week and have no access to my desktop to post it.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.

Edit: The pic I posted is inside the local Mountain Hops Brewing. They will celebrate their 1 year anniversary in July with a BA Imperial Stout which they will be bottling.

I probably have pics of other quirky or interesting things but not recalling what they might be right now. Bell's was easy to remember because I visit there fairly often. I'll search when I get home next week.

Brewery I went to Sunday has a 12oz canning machine behind the bar. They will can anything you want that they have on draft. Kinda nice to get 6 pack instead of a 32oz crowler as was able to give a can to someone else to try later in the day and makes their beer even more portable and storable.

I'm damned if I can remember where it was, but one place I visited had urinals that were repurposed Budweiser kegs. No pics, just the obvious wisecracks, e.g. circle of life, what goes around comes around, "...piss thou art, and to piss thou shalt return..."

They're all over (just Goggle "Beer Keg Urinal" - tho' I suppose the commercially produced ones might be embossed with other brewers' or no brewers' names). They're even sold on Amazon.

I'm certain that I've taken pics of keg urinals at a couple breweries. If I can find the pics when I get home next week I'll post them too.

Stoudts in PA (before they closed), had these really creepy old time black and white nudie pics of women in the mens room. They were nude women with demons and weird cult like stuff going on. Then my wife told me the women’s room had black and white pics of nude men in creepy pics as well. Very weird. Maybe because it was right in the middle of Amish country, it was some secret peep show escapism thing or something.

One of my local breweries has the nautical chart for our area on the ceiling of the dining room. It always bugs me that oriented improperly. Same brewery has a set of stairs that leads up to an office, and each riser is a different beer, in it's color. The black ones at the bottom (stouts) leading up to the lightest brew at the top.

We use have a hunting camp in the Poconos, used to be big woods back in the 70s now it an influx of NJ/ NY lic plates, big homes, and real traffic jams in Bushkill, they ruin everything. But used to be a little bar that had a dog that laid behind the bar and the bartender kept it filled with beer, the dog was a lush and would get pissed if anyone but the bartender got near his bowl. Poor old boy was always soused, now PETA would boycott you.

Same bar back before I was born, I’m guessing in the 50s, a guy shot a bear dragged him into the bar and propped him up on a barstool with a beer. Too bad no one had cameras then, that would be priceless. Sounds something my Pop would do.

Don’t know if there are any places left with the old style trough filled with ice urinals. Dirty Franks had them when I arrived in Philly 1984, there were other spots too. Anyone remember the “urinals” at the bar? They ran the bottom of the bar and you just let loose at the bar. I never used one but many old Philly bars had them, none were in use anymore.

    Enjoy

When I worked in a bar, one of my jobs was to fill the urinals with ice. They thought it would help keep the place cleaner as guys would aim to melt the cubes when the peed so less went on the floor.....

Wrigley Field still has the throughs in most of the Men's rooms. Very efficient if not very sanitary : )

I don't know if they were Bud kegs but Pizza Boy is one of the breweries that had keg urinals.
