    For anyone looking to get sloshed on a Wednesday or Thursday, here's your chance! I feel like the guest taps could be really great or really meh. From the book of face:

    While we wish we could throw to the caliber that we know it deserves, it takes months & months of planning even without COVID restrictions. That being said, we still really want to showcase our annual release of Barrel-Aged Imperial Smells Like Bean Spirit, its variants, & some stellar beers from our friends. Here is what we have planned for SLABF 2021...

    This will be a 2 hour seated tasting experience in the tent alongside our building for the following dates & times:
    Wednesday May 26th at 3pm
    Wednesday May 26th at 7pm
    Thursday May 27th at 3pm
    Thursday May 27th at 7pm

    Tickets will be sold per table, opposed to per person, in either pairs or quads.

    Cost (Gratuity & Tax included)
    Table for Two: $200
    Table for Four: $400

    Each person attending will receive the following:
    (15) Three oz pours including BAISLBS, Variants, & Guest Beers (swipe through for details)
    (1) Charcuterie Cup provided by Gamboard Charcuterie
    (1) 8oz bag of Smells Like Bean Spirit Coffee from Tugboat Coffee
    (1) 8oz jar of Organic Maple Syrup from Mackinac Bluffs Maple Farms
    (1) 6oz tasting glass

    21+ with valid ID & proof of purchase to attend & Limit 1 table per purchase

    Ticket sales will be non-refundable, even if guest(s) of purchaser does not show. However you will be able to transfer tickets to other parties if you were the original purchaser. Ticket purchaser must be present for any guests to be checked in.

    We will post on the socials this Saturday May 15th when tickets are live to purchase via our point of sales system Toast. Exact time will not be announced, just like our barrel-aged releases, to give everyone as fair a chance as possible.

    With COVID restrictions being lifted almost daily, we have some epic beer events planned for this summer & fall that are in the works. We can't wait to share some beers with you!

    With those included purchase items for the “Fest,” apparently Mikerphone saw the Half Acre Truffle Incident and decided it was better as a feature not a bug.

    Anyone going to the fest tomorrow? They’re planning a bunch of surprises and I’m very interested.

    Also I know from asking that Funk Factory sent down a keg of All Black Everything.

    @triptychbrewing - AJ's Stout 2020 - Double Barrel Imperial Stout w/notes of dark chocolate, raisins, & bourbon, 16%

    @southerngristbrewing - Standard Banter, Imperial Sweet Stout aged 17 months in a blend of Bourbon Barrels, then aged on Coconut, Marshmallows, Vanilla, & a hint of Lemon Peel, 12.5%

    Get on that AJ's '20 folks. You won't regret it. Not sure if it's available up there, but Triptych just released a Mikerphone TIPA collab today.

    Mikerphone posted in their IG story a picture of waxed bottles of Softly Spoken Lies Exposed (with no adjuncts listed on the label). *Guessing* that means we have a dual release coming soon of the BA Softly remake and this non-adjunct version as well.

    Mikerphone also announced that they aren't going to add any adjuncts to their BA New Workout Plan. I have mixed feelings about that. They have done a great job with the non-adjuncted BA stouts in the past, and this one must be pretty good if they aren't throwing all the extra stuff in. However, New Workout Plan was possibly my favorite non-BA stout Mikerphone has ever done, and I was really looking forward to it.
