Good day BAs! Off to yet another rainy start. Today's New Breakfast Beer is another from IPA Cyberfest:

The strawberry flavor was unexpected, but at least (nyuk nyuk) it wasn't Muldering. Rating 4.07, rDev -1%.

not two beer but just one. I left the empty on the shelf from yesterday.

Lancaster Kolsch. Light. Doughy. Interesting yeast characteristics almost like a moscato type thing without all that sugar. Simply can not beat an $8 six pack. I will be looking for this again.

Morning @Ozzylizard and thanks for kicking things off.

I’ve got something new to me and fairly excited to try it. It’s a new release from Duvel-Moortgat, just earlier this year that our advocate from the Netherlands, @Beer-Panda got to try before me.

Duvel 6,66; which is named after its ABV. Very good Belgian blonde, no doubt the Belgian brewers are innovating for the last years after Brasserie d’achouffe, (cherry and Blanche) Trappistes Rochefort (Tripel) and Westmalle extra. Good to keep traditions while adding some novelty.

    Cheers!

    Goodmorning everyone!
On this spectacular spring day, I'm drinking now a

Vocation Brewery (Hebden Bridge, ENG) + Marble Brewery (Manchester, ENG) - HOP, SKIP & JUICE - Hazy Pale Ale (5.7%)

    0.33 cl can.
Expiry at the bottom of the can: 24/12/2021.
With Simcoe hops and Citra BBC.
On the nose immediately notes of tropical fruit and mandarin peel.
Cloudy / opaque light yellow color (hazy).
Abundant, fragrant foam with little consistency. It never disappears completely.
In the mouth extremely drinkable body, right carbonation, great lightness (also thanks to the oats used).
Triumph of tropical fruit bouquet (especially pineapple, yellow peach, mango) and citrus fruit (ripe orange, clementine).
    Very "juicy".
Soft entry, finish with a pleasant hint of bitterness that balances the fruitiness that still pervades the palate.
Summer beer, fresh, tasty and light. It would not have spoiled, for my personal tastes, a slightly more marked bitterness, but for the style it wants to represent it is perfectly in the canons.
In my opinion, a successful collaboration by the two breweries even if I was surprised it happened for a beer all in all designed more to be enjoyed instantly than to remain in the memory for a long time ... in any case, the work turned out well.

Nice! I like the 6,66 too. Lot of new things and new releases of classic stuff In Belgium recently.
While we already had 6,66, we still had to wait till last week for the return of the wonderful Duvel cashmire triple hop.
    Cheers

Just a quick hit and run with the one beer I'm having today. Ithaca Every Day Haze, and NEIPA. It's a really good looking beer. Hazy, bright golden color with a big head that had good retention and left gorgeous lacing. The beer is very tasty with strong mango notes backed by grapefruit and orange. A nice beer.

Gilded Porter by La Cumbre by way of @beergoot. I can be cynical about Star Wars and the parade of commercial endeavors related to the Lucas/Disney axis, but I’ll be cold in the ground before John Williams’ main theme stops jumpstarting my pulse. Hardwired since I was a kid. May the Fourth be with you!
