Notch Brewing (2021)

Have there been any recent updates on their Brighton location? It’s just so close to me. I’m very much looking forward to that opening.

 

As @Sheppard posted, Chris has been active with his account about tanks arriving and such and the Notch main with job openings info.

Chris posted this in the thread on 3/2: “We are looking at a mid spring opening at this point, so a few months away. We'll have more frequent updates as we get closer.”

Agreed. Can’t wait. Much closer drive than Salem and biking is now an option.

 

Very good. Thanks for the update fellas. Mighty Squirrel is close to me but this will be even closer and a brewery I’m much more likely to want to visit often.

 

In case you are wondering.... Loggerhead and BBQ Brisket is beautiful dinner. Looks like subscription boxes should arrive tomorrow. I wouldn't mind if a few more loggerheads are in it.

 

Coincidentally, I just saw this on universal hub. It sounds like they’re going before the licensing board tomorrow. Not that a pouring license is the final step, but it’s got to be getting close!

Looks like Notch's bier garden AND tap room are open for drinking!

I will fully admit part of the reason for this post was to bump Notch up in the new Northeast forum.

 

Heading there at noon sharp. Tenner and standard on draft in my near future. It's like Christmas morning.

 

You and @Kozaka should meet there for a few beers to discuss thread pumping strategies. He should bring some Fox Farm lagers to compare

I love the Salem Lager much, much more than I expected. Hoping to see that again sometime soon. Still have a couple cans of Tenner in the fridge for now.

 

Just wanted to say I’m having a stellar Salem Lager tonight after having drank inside the tap room since who knows when. Crushed a half liter of The Standard on “lukr”.

 

No Salem lager for me at the moment, but I will be more than satisfied with the Suarez While Helles that I got this weekend. Wow...what a treat this is. A truly beautiful beer. Just great stuff.

 

Anyone heard any more details about that pitch lined pils release? Last I heard was sometime early summer.

I think they were hoping this would be a quarterly-ish release and for reference I picked up my bottles on release day (March 20th). They posted online that they re-pitched the barrels in early/mid April and that there was a 3+ month lagering time. With all that I’d assume the next release will be in July.
