....and Florence. Wherefore art thou, shelfies?

By the way, are $40 CDs bothering anyone else? Just me?

I've brought it up before, but when you look at the time involved in a lot of the newer CD's, the higher price tag makes sense. The older variations weren't aged for more than 1-2 years total. The new variations are looking at 3-5 years in barrel and bottle.

    Yes! Another great one.

That Arthur was phenomenal. Such an incredible beer.

Damon, more Edward and organic malt Susan added for next week with everything from this week sticking around. Hard to beat that.

How long might Damn be available? Could it be available May 12?

Possibly. The rolling release with online ordering is a bit different animal than pre pandemic times. People can be buying it now online for pickup next week as opposed to having to physically show up on that first Wednesday normal release times. Looking back, Vermont Gift Box during pandemic and prior releases seemed to have lasted about a week to a just over a week of retail.

Drinking Leaves of Grass October 3, 2019 and it's really excellent. Balanced and bright acidity, great notes of lemon and apricot. Second pour incorporated lees, thought it added some nice depth and rounded out the aroma/swallow. Also, like the move toward organic ingredients

Looks like it's still available - recommend if anyone is making the trip!

I was tempted but skipped it as I'm already in for over $500 this week, I had to cut back somewhere. Now I need to convince myself to drive 500 miles in one day. I've done it a few times but its not much fun.

As someone who routinely made the WI to Side Project 11 hour there and back with nothing but grass and wind farm scenery has openly welcomed the 8 hour HF there and back through the beautiful rolling hills and twisty ass roads. It ain’t that bad.

35 dollar Damons is some Stowe money nonsense.

The price makes it easier to skip for me. I keep saying that I’m swearing off double-digit ABV beers anyway. Haven’t been able to entirely succeed on this goal, but I’m getting there.

Nice to see the fresh hoppy beers returning. An S&S or two returning soon? Let’s hope.

Also wondering if any of the fresh beers are being kegged and sent to some of the usual suspects like Blackback, Armsby, Three Penny, etc.

I think it’s allowed in this case. For example, when Flora Blueberry/Cherry was released when retail came back, it was a per person limit with the language “for the duration of the release.” No indication of that with Damon so have at it.

Could also ask when you're picking up the first day (if you're already planning to be up in VT all 3 days anyway, vs just for this).
